THOMAS W. COFFEY is senior counsel in the Cleveland office of Tucker Ellis & West LLP. With more than 20 years of practice, he is a bankruptcy lawyer who focuses his practice on bankruptcy reorganizations and insolvency matters. Mr. Coffey represents debtors, creditors, committees, and trustees in Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 bankruptcy cases. He is a former bankruptcy trustee and was a member of the adjunct faculty at the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where he taught a number of classes in commercial law and was recipient of the Adjunct Faculty Teaching Excellence Award in 2001. Mr. Coffey authored The Small but Essential Handbook of Basic Bankruptcy Law, a guide to the difficult and complex process of bankruptcy, published by Casemaker. He also has published articles in law journals and legal texts and has participated as a faculty member in a number of continuing legal education seminars. Mr. Coffey's published work has been cited as authority by state and federal courts, including the U.S. Third Circuit Court of Appeals. He also is the author of several confirmed plans of reorganization in Chapter 11 cases. Mr. Coffey is a member of the Ohio State and American bar associations and was recently appointed by Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson to a second term as a member of the Cleveland Landmarks Commission. He also is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees. Mr. Coffey earned his B.M. degree from the University of Cincinnati and his J.D. degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law. ROCCO I. DEBITETTO is a partner in the Cleveland office of Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP, where he focuses his practice in the creditors' rights, reorganization and bankruptcy area. He represents creditors, both secured and unsecured, creditor's committees, debtors-in-possession, and bankruptcy trustees in numerous reorganization proceedings. Mr. Debitetto also practices in a number of state courts, including receivership proceedings, and provides general business counsel to a variety of clients. He is active in many bar associations, and currently serves on the board of directors of the Cleveland Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, where he chairs the Bankruptcy Section. Mr. Debitetto is listed in the 2005-07 & 2009-11 lists of Ohio Rising Stars by Ohio Super Lawyers. He earned his B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Dayton and his J.D. degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law. DEREK DIAZ is a partner in the Cleveland office of Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP and co-chair of the firm's appellate group. He focuses his practice on federal courts, bankruptcy litigation, appeals, and class actions. In 2010 and 2011, Ohio Super Lawyers named Mr. Diaz in its lists of ?Ohio Rising Stars.? Mr. Diaz is a member of the American Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. He earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from John Carroll University and his J.D. degree from Ohio State University. Mr. Diaz is certified by the Ohio State Bar Association as a specialist in appellate law. Before working at Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP, he served as a law clerk for U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Arthur I. Harris in Cleveland, Ohio. SCOTT J. KELLY is a partner in the law firm of Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP, where he represents businesses in commercial litigation matters across a wide range of business issues. Mr. Kelly has a wealth of experience representing clients in contractual disputes. He has tried several business cases before juries, judges and arbitrators throughout the country. His experience includes high-stakes bankruptcy litigation. Mr. Kelly also advises clients on matters outside the traditional litigation arena, including giving strategic advice in all aspects of bankruptcy cases, counseling regarding antitrust investigations, and advice related to drafting critical contracts. He is licensed to practice law in Ohio, California and the District of Columbia. He appears for clients in state and federal courts nationwide. Mr. Kelly is a member of the Turnaround Management Association and the Cleveland Metropolitan, Ohio State and Federal bar associations. He earned his B.S.B.A. degree from Bowling Green State University, and his J.D. degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. PETER R. MORRISON is an attorney with Squire, Sanders & Dempsey L.L.P. Mr. Morrison's practice centers both on insolvency and restructuring matters and financial services. His insolvency and restructuring activity has focused on representing a bank holding company in a Chapter 11 reorganization; managing bankruptcy matters for various nationwide secured lenders; representing a secured lender through the plan confirmation process in the highly contested bankruptcy of an industrial automotive supplier; and restructuring the complex secured debt of a national commercial real estate contractor. He is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Mr. Morrison earned his B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison; and his J.D. degree, cum laude, Case Western Reserve University.
