PATRICIA B. FUGÉE is a partner in the Toledo office of Roetzel & Andress, L.P.A., where she practices in the areas of bankruptcy, creditors' rights and commercial litigation. She has been practicing law for more than 20 years and has spoken at seminars and other programs on a variety of bankruptcy and commercial litigation issues for various organizations, including the American Bankruptcy Institute, Ohio State, Toledo, New Jersey State and Essex County bar associations and the Bankruptcy Inn of Court in Newark, New Jersey. Ms. Fugée earned her B.A. degree from Wellesley College and her J.D. degree, with high honors, from Rutgers University-Camden. She is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, Michigan Bar Association, Toledo Bar Association (in which she served as chair of the Bankruptcy Committee for two years and presently serves on the Board of Directors) and the American Bankruptcy Institute. Ms. Fugée is also a certified creditors' rights specialist by the American Board of Certification and a member of Zonta International. PATRICK D. HENDERSHOTT is the owner and chief managing attorney of the Law Office of Patrick D. Hendershott, LLC. He first became involved in creditor's rights and bankruptcy law while in law school where he was a judicial intern for Judge Richard L. Speer, Bankruptcy Judge for the Northern District of Ohio, Western Division. Prior to opening his own law office in September of 2001, Mr. Hendershott practiced for seven years with a large law firm where he represented lending institutions in bankruptcy, creditor's rights, eviction, foreclosure, lender liability and litigation throughout Ohio. He also represented individual debtors in chapters 7 and 13 as well as corporations in chapter 11 bankruptcies. During that time he also represented insurance companies and individuals conducting first chair litigation of civil matters including wrongful death and multiparty fire litigation matters. Mr. Hendershott earned his B.B.A. degree, cum laude, and his J.D. degree from the University of Toledo where he was a technical editor for The University of Toledo Law Review. Attorney Hendershott is admitted to the Ohio Supreme Court and all U.S. District Courts for Ohio and Michigan. He is a past chairperson for the Toledo Bar Association Bankruptcy Committee and is a regular seminar speaker presenting to attorneys throughout Ohio on bankruptcy and foreclosure matters for organizations such as The Ohio Bar Association, The Toledo Bar Association, and National Business Institute. PATRICIA ANN KOVACS is a sole practitioner in Toledo, where her areas of practice include bankruptcy and debtors for individuals and businesses. Ms. Kovacs is licensed in federal and state courts for the Northern District of Ohio. She has lectured to various professional groups on the topic of bankruptcy, and is a former trustee on the panel for the Northern District of Ohio. Ms. Kovacs is a member of the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees and the Ohio and Toledo (former chair of the Bankruptcy Committee) bar associations. She earned her B.A. degree, J.D. degree and master degree in public administration from the University of Toledo.
