AMY L. BUTLER is an associate with Roetzel & Andress, where her practice focuses on transportation litigation, business litigation, retail representation, product liability defense, franchise litigation and insurance law. Her experiences includes jury trials, bench trials, mediations and arbitrations in both federal and state courts. She was selected as an "Ohio Super Lawyers - Rising Star" by Ohio Super Lawyers Magazine in 2009 and 2010. She was a law clerk for Lucas County Court of Common Pleas. Ms. Butler is a member of the Ohio State and Toledo bar associations. She is admitted to practice in Ohio and for the U.S. Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit, the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio and for the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Ohio. She received her B.A. degree from The University of Toledo, her M.Ed degree from Bowling Green State University and her J.D. degree from The University of Toledo, College of Law, where she was the Lead Articles Editor of the University of Toledo Law Review. KENT D. RIESEN is a partner in the Toledo law firm of Anspach Meeks Ellenberger LLP, where he practices in the areas of construction claims, insurance coverage claims, transportation defense, commercial claims, employment issues and environmental law. He is a licensed attorney in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, New York and West Virginia. Mr. Riesen previously lectured to various professional groups on litigation, bad faith, insurance and employment law issues. He is a member of the New York State, Toledo and Ohio State bar associations, the West Virginia State Bar, the State Bar of Michigan, the Defense Research Institute, the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the Toledo and Columbus claims associations. Mr. Riesen earned his B.A. degree from Ohio Northern University and his J.D. degree from the University of Toledo. DENNIS R. SPIRGEN is a sole practitioner in Lakewood, Ohio, where he practices in the areas of insurance defense, insurance coverage, insurance bad faith, appellate practice and litigation. He earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Southern California and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law. Mr. Spirgen is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association (past member, Benefits Committee; current member, Litigation Section, current member, Insurance Committee), the Ohio State Bar Association (member, Insurance Law Committee) and the State Bar of California. He also served as the deputy foreman of the Grand Jury of the Central District of California.
