CHARLES BRIGHAM III is a partner in the Cincinnati law firm of Brigham & Brigham Co., L.P.A., and president of Buckeye Land Title Company. Mr. Brigham's practice includes commercial and residential real estate, estate administration, will and estate planning, and corporations. He is a licensed title agent in the states of Ohio and Indiana. Mr. Brigham has lectured for various groups on real estate matters and is a former instructor of Paralegal Studies at the College of Mount St. Joseph, where he taught courses on advanced real estate and estate planning. He is a member of the Ohio Land Title Association, the Southwestern Ohio Land Title Association, the Cincinnati Bar Association and serves on the Real Property Specialty Board and the Real Property Section Council for the Ohio State Bar Association. Mr. Brigham earned his B.S. degree from Ohio Northern University and his J.D. degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. KIM K. BURKE serves as co-chair of the Environmental Practice Group of Taft, Stettinius & Hollister LLP. Mr. Burke joined the Taft law firm in 1981, where he has concentrated in a variety of environmental law areas, including trial work; Superfund defense and negotiation; development and implementation of hazardous substance remedial investigation and corrective measure plans; defense of toxic tort and other civil and criminal claims; real estate transfers, acquisitions and divestitures; government funding, including stimulus and brownfields; environmental insurance litigation; environmental permits; and administrative proceedings before state and federal environmental agencies. He was an adjunct professor of law at the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where he taught a course on advanced problems in environmental law. Mr. Burke is past chairman of the Cincinnati Bar Association Environmental Law Committee and was formerly chairman of the legal affairs subcommittee for the Hamilton County Advisory Committee on Chemical Emergency Response. He is a member of the SARA Title III Local Emergency Planning Committee and also is a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager. Mr. Burke has represented clients in numerous environmental litigation, Superfund, RCRA and cleanup matters in more than 25 states around the country. Mr. Burke has been recognized by his peers for the last 20 years in the Best Lawyers in America, was recognized as 2010 Environmental Lawyer of the Year-Cincinnati by Best Lawyers, was named a Leading Lawyer for Business by Chambers USA since 2003 and selected as an Ohio Super Lawyer since 2005. MCDANIEL is a partner in the Cincinnati firm of Wood & McDaniel, LLC, where her practice is concentrated in the real property, probate and small business fields (title examinations, title insurance and closings, contract work, business entities, and real estate litigation). Ms. McDaniel has conducted presentations for real estate professionals on various aspects of the real estate practice, including registered land and family law/real estate issues, and also taught closing considerations, contract writing and ethics to realtors. She earned her B.A. degree from the University of Cincinnati and her J.D. degree from Northern Kentucky University, Chase College of Law. Ms. McDaniel is a member of the Cincinnati Bar Association and the Southwest Ohio Land Title Association. She also is a registered land examiner for Hamilton County. WILLIAM L. PURTELL is an attorney in the law firm of Lerner, Sampson & Rothfuss, where he focuses his practice in foreclosures, evictions and real property issues. Mr. Purtell has limited his practice solely to foreclosure and eviction matters for nearly eight years. He also serves on the Ethics Committee for his firm. Mr. Purtell has previously lectured for the Cincinnati Bar Association, the Cincinnati Board of Realtors and the Southern Ohio Recorders Association on FDCPA issues, foreclosure procedures and legal ethics. He earned his B.A. degree from Thomas More College and his J.D. degree from the University of Cincinnati. Mr. Purtell is a member of the Cincinnati and Ohio State bar associations, as well as the United States Foreclosure Network (USFN). FRANK G. WOOD II is a partner in the Cincinnati firm of Wood & McDaniel, LLC, where his practice is concentrated in the real property, probate and small business fields (title examinations, title insurance and closings, contract work, business entities and real estate litigation). Mr. Wood is a registered land examiner for Hamilton County. He has written various articles concerning real property; has conducted presentations to real estate professionals on registered land and family law/real estate issues; and has taught closing considerations, contract writing and ethics to realtors. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Cincinnati and his J.D. degree from Northern Kentucky University, Chase College of Law.
