KEITH A. ASHMUS is a partner with the Cleveland law firm of Frantz Ward LLP, where his practice is focused on employment law, business law and alternative dispute resolution. He is a past chair of both the Labor Law Section and the ADR Committee of the Cleveland Bar Association, and the Commercial Arbitration Advisory Panel of the American Arbitration Association. Committed to the community, he has chaired the Salvation Army's Greater Cleveland Advisory Board, served on the Board of Directors of the Greater Cleveland Partnership, and chaired COSE, the Council of Smaller Enterprises. Mr. Ashmus is one of Ohio's best-known lawyers, having recently completed a term as president of the Ohio State Bar Association, and serving as president-elect of the Ohio State Bar Foundation. BENNETT is a partner in the Cleveland law firm of Frantz Ward LLP, where she focuses her practice on representation of management in the area of labor and employment, including claims involving employment discrimination under federal and state law. Ms. Bennett also advises employers regarding personnel policies, OSHA compliance, prevailing wage and other government contracting requirements, and union avoidance and labor relations issues. She earned her B.A. degree, summa cum laude, with distinction, from The Ohio State University and her J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, where she was a business editor for the Cleveland State Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Board of Governors. MESSELOFF is an attorney in the Cleveland law firm of Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. Mr. Messeloff focuses on representing companies in labor and employment litigation, including actions in federal and state district and appellate courts, before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Ohio Civil Rights Commission, the National Labor Relations Board, other administrative agencies, and in arbitration. He has played an integral role in the defense of several multimillion dollar employment lawsuits, including single-plaintiff discrimination claims as well as class-and collective-action claims against employers. Mr. Messeloff is a board member of the Shaker Heights Human Relations Commission and a member of the Ohio State, Cleveland, and American bar associations. JAMES PETROFF is an attorney with the Cleveland law firm of Faulkner, Muskovitz & Phillips, LLP, where he concentrates his practice on collective bargaining and litigation, including employee benefits cases and class actions in the federal and state courts. Mr. Petroff is a board certified specialist in labor and employment law by the Ohio State Bar Association. He has frequently served as a lecturer and author on labor issues, including: new topic author, Chapter 19, "Constitutional Issues in Public-Sector Arbitration," A. Mr. Petroff has served as a speaker for the AFL-CIO Lawyers Coordinating Committee in the Midwest and at the national level. He earned his B.A. degree from The Ohio State University and his J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from The University of Dayton School of Law, where he served as an editor on its Law Review. EVELYN P. SCHONBERG is a founding member and partner in the Cleveland law firm of Ross, Brittain & Schonberg Co., L.P.A., where she focuses her practice on the representation of management in employment relations matters. She is certified by the Ohio State Bar Association as a specialist in labor and employment law. In addition to litigating claims of wrongful discharge, discrimination and other employment related actions, she also assists clients in matters such as creating employee manuals, drafting employment agreements, developing affirmative action plans and substance abuse policies, and advising on day-to-day employment relations. She has also been repeatedly selected as an Ohio Super Lawyer by her fellow lawyers.
