NEELANJAN CHOUDHURY is an attorney with the firm of Donoghue, Thomas, Auslander & Drohan LLP. He received his B.A. degree from the University of Rochester; and his J.D. degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he was a member of the school's moot court. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Choudhury worked for a firm that focused on premises liability litigation. Since starting work at Donoghue, Thomas, Auslander & Drohan LLP, Mr. Choudhury has been involved in matters concerning student discipline, special education, public works contracts, construction and employment discrimination litigation, tax certiorari litigation, and various other areas involving education law. LAURA DELGAUDIO is an attorney at the law firm of Donoghue, Thomas, Auslander & Drohan LLP. Ms. DelGaudio received her B.A. and M.A. degrees from American University in Washington, D.C., and her J.D. degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where she was the Public Interest Research Fellow. Prior to joining Donoghue Thomas, Ms. DelGaudio worked for several universities and education non-profit organizations in offices of general counsel, admissions and recruiting, financial aid, and career services. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the National Association of College and University Attorneys. Ms. DelGaudio has served as an adjunct professor of education law at Pace University. Her practice focuses on labor and employment matters and issues involving public education and higher education law. She has presented to administrators, teachers, and staff on a variety of employment and education topics. JAMES P. DROHAN is a partner of the law firm of Donoghue, Thomas, Auslander & Drohan LLP, where his practice areas include education law, labor law, municipal law, civil rights and disabilities. Mr. Drohan concentrates his practice on litigation matters and devotes much of his time to educational and labor matters. He has extensive experience in grievance arbitration, special education and professional disciplinary matters. Mr. Drohan has conducted seminars and in-service training for school board members, administrators and teachers on a variety of issues involving public education. He has served as an adjunct professor of education law at St. John's University, SUNY New Paltz, Mount Saint Mary's College, and Pace University. Mr. Drohan is a member of the Dutchess County and New York State bar associations, National Council of School Attorneys, and the National Association of College and University Attorneys and has served on the Board of Advisors of the "No Child Left Behind Compliance Insider." He earned his A.B. degree from Georgetown University and his J.D. degree from Fordham University.
