JOSEPH R. CRAFA is an attorney at the law firm of Crafa & Sofield, P.C., where he handles a wide variety of personal injury cases, including those arising from general negligence, work related accidents, automobile accidents, medical malpractice, products liability and professional negligence. He also handles lawsuits involving property damage, commercial litigation, civil rights and real estate transactions. Mr. Crafa earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from Adelphi University and his J.D. degree from St. John's University. He has lectured in the field of civil trial practice before the Queens County and New York State bar associations. JOHN DELLICARPINI is a member of The DelliCarpini Law Firm in Melville, New York. He has been engaged in plaintiffs' personal injury trial practice for more than 30 years, concentrating on negligence, construction, malpractice and product liability cases. Mr. DelliCarpini earned his B.A. degree from Queens College of the City University of New York and his J.D. degree from St. John's University School of Law. He is a former assistant district attorney in Queens County, where he tried felony cases. Mr. DelliCarpini has long been a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers, New York State and Suffolk County bar associations. He has been a regular lecturer on civil trial practice. JEFFREY M. KIMMEL is a partner in the New York firm of Salenger Sack Schwartz & Kimmel, LLP. He specializes in medical malpractice and significant personal injury matters. Before joining the firm, Mr. Kimmel served as an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County in the Investigations Bureau. He was also an associate at a medical malpractice defense firm in Manhattan. A frequent lecturer on trial preparation, trial strategy and courtroom techniques, Mr. Kimmel speaks to attorneys at bar associations as well as to students at local law schools, colleges and high schools. He is a member of the prestigious Medical Malpractice Committee of The City Bar of New York. Mr. Kimmel has served as chairman of the New York County Lawyers Association's Young Lawyers Section and founded its highly successful mentoring program. He is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, New York State Bar Association, The City Bar of New York and New York County Lawyers Association. Mr. Kimmel graduated from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. degree and Brooklyn Law School, where he received the school's coveted American Jurisprudence Awards in Legal Writing and Appellate Advocacy. Mr. Kimmel is admitted to the Bar in New York, New Jersey, District of Columbia and the United States federal courts. JOSEPH K. STRANG is a partner at the law firm of Birzon, Strang & Associates. Mr. Strang has been practicing civil litigation in the New York area for more than 25 years. A highly experienced litigator, his areas of expertise include personal injury, and medical and professional malpractice. Prior to joining the firm in 1998, Mr. Strang was an attorney at several of the region's most prominent firms. He is a summa cum laude graduate of St. John's University. Mr. Strang subsequently attended St. John's University of Law as a St. Thomas More Scholar. He graduated and earned his juris doctorate degree in 1981. Mr. Strang has also served as an instructor in the Department of Government and Politics at St. John's University. He is a member of the Suffolk County and New York State bar associations and the Nassau-Suffolk Trial Lawyer Association.
