RICHARD G. COMPSON is the managing partner of the Utica law firm of Compson, Eannace & Pierro, PLLC, where he practices in the areas of business law, estate planning, wills, trusts and taxation. He is a former adjunct professor of contracts and commercial law at Utica College. Mr. Compson is a member of the Oneida County (chairman of Trusts, Estate and Elder Law Committee, past president), New York State (member, Trusts, Estate and Elder Law Section) and American bar associations. He also is a member of The Florida Bar and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). Mr. Compson earned his A.B. degree from Franklin & Marshall College and his J.D. degree from the University of Miami. FREDERICK P. DAVIES is the founder and senior attorney of the Davies Law Firm, P.C., where he focuses his civil practice on estate planning and elder law. He is a noted speaker on living trusts, long-term care, and estate planning. Mr. Davies is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Central New York, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the American (Wills and Estates Section) and New York State bar associations, and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Vermont and his J.D. degree from Syracuse University. SHANE M. McCROHAN joined Scolaro, Shulman, Cohen, Fetter & Burstein, P.C. as an associate in the estate planning and trust and estate administration practice groups. Mr. McCrohan graduated, cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts. He is a member of the Massachusetts and New York State bar associations. Mr. McCrohan's practice is focused in the areas of estate planning, trust and estate administration, and business and tax planning for individuals and professionals. He also concentrates his practice in elder law and assisting individuals with long-term care planning. In addition, Mr. McCrohan is a professional certified financial planner. Prior to joining the Scolaro, Shulman, Cohen, Fetter & Burstein, P.C. law firm, he worked in the Boston area as a financial planner for five years and as an associate for two law firms with practices focused on estate planning, trust and estate administration, and long-term care planning.
