JEFFREY K. ANDERSON is managing partner in the law firm of Anderson, Moschetti & Taffany, PLLC. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University, cum laude in 1978 and Juris Doctor Degree from Albany Law School of Union University in 1981. For the past 27 years, Mr. Anderson has represented clients in personal injury and wrongful death cases arising from automobile accidents, defective products, medical negligence, construction site accidents and unsafe premises. He has obtained numerous multi-million settlements and verdicts on behalf of his clients, including a verdict of $4.8 million in a products liability case. Mr. Anderson is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in New York and is a member of the American Bar Association, American Association for Justice, New York State Bar Association, New York State Trial Lawyers Association (former member Board of Directors), Albany, Rensselaer and Saratoga County bar associations, and is a past president of the Capital District Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Anderson is also a founding partner of Litigation Resolution Services, which provides arbitration and mediation services in upstate New York. He successfully completed training in mediation and arbitration techniques through the Harvard Negotiation Institute at Harvard Law School. He began mediating in 1994 during settlement weeks in Rennsselaer and Albany County Supreme Courts and has served as arbitrator and mediator in hundreds of cases to date. He has been an active member of the Dispute Resolution Section of the New York State Bar Association, served as co-liaison to the Torts, Insurance and Compensation Law Section, and as a member of the Arbitration, Mediation, and ADR in the Courts committees. Mr. Anderson regularly lectures at seminars on personal injury, products liability, medical malpractice, workplace injuries and trial practice. He has been asked to speak at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, at the annual Decisions programs for the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, for the American Society of Safety Engineers, Capital District Trial Lawyers Association, New York State Bar Association, American Association for Justice, and for community organizations. In 2008 he wrote a chapter on products liability law for the two volume treatise The Plaintiff's Personal Injury Action in New York, published by the New York State Bar Association. In 2009 and 2010, Mr. Anderson was voted one of the top attorneys in Upstate New York in Super Lawyers, and is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale- Hubbell. THERESA B. MARANGAS is lead partner in the litigation practice group of Wilson Elser. She has extensive trial experience, with emphasis on general tort liability, professional malpractice and environmental liability. Ms. Marangas is a mentor for the Diversity Internship Program at Albany Law School and a member of the Inns of Court Mentoring Program for Albany law students. She is a member of the Defense Research Institute, and the Albany County Bar Association. Ms. Marangas earned her B.A. degree from the State University of New York at Albany and her J.D. degree from Quinnipiac University. She also is a graduate of the Hofstra University National Institute for Trial Advocacy Masters Program (1995); and the Harvard Law School National Institute for Trial Advocacy Teacher Advocacy Skills Program (2004). LATHA RAGHAVAN is a partner in the Albany office and is an accomplished trial attorney. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in London, England, and her Juris Doctorate from Rutgers University School of Law. She was admitted to the Maryland bar in 1989 and the New York bar in 1990. Ms. Raghavan is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York, and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. She concentrates her practice in product liability, fire litigation, general litigation, insurance, construction and employment issues. MARIA C. TEBANO is a partner with Tebano & Associates, PLLC. She brings 15 years of experience in a wide variety of practice areas relating to civil law to the firm. Ms. Tebano's practice includes family and matrimonial law, real estate law, commercial and civil litigation, employment law, insurance defense and personal injury. She earned her B.A. degree from the State University of New York at Albany, her J.D. degree from St. Thomas University School of Law and continued her education by earning a Master of Laws degree from the University of Miami School of Law. Prior to joining Tully Rinckey PLLC, Ms. Tebano served as a principal at an Albany area firm. She is admitted to practice in all courts in the states of New York, New Jersey, North Carolina and Florida. Ms. Tebano is admitted to practice before the Northern District of New York, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit and the U.S. Tax Court. She has been a featured speaker for National Business Institute on a variety of topics, including family and matrimonial law, and estate planning. Ms. Tebano is an active member of the Albany County and New York State bar associations.
