WILLIAM CONSIDINE is division vice president and program manager, New York insurance programs, for the American Arbitration Association. As such, he heads the New York no-fault and SUM arbitration forums of the AAA. Mr. Considine is an attorney, admitted in New York. Previous positions include New York no-fault arbitrator; and general counsel and deputy commissioner for legal affairs, New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission. He has taught administrative law at Pace Law School. Mr. Considine is an honors graduate of Harvard Law School and Stanford University. He is a member of the Torts, Insurance and Compensation Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. Mr. Considine previously served over the years on the Transportation Law Committee, the Environmental Law Committee, and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. RICHARD DIEBOLD has served as a New York SUM/UM arbitrator since being appointed by the New York State superintendent of insurance in 1999. Prior to that, he was an attorney in private practice for more than 30 years. He is a graduate of Georgetown University and the University of Buffalo Law School. Mr. Diebold has been member of the Erie County Bar Association, the New York State Trial Lawyer Association, the New York State Bar Association and the West New York Trial Lawyers Association. STEVEN E. PEIPER is an attorney at the law firm of Hurwitz & Fine P.C., where his main area of practice is insurance coverage. Mr. Peiper has spoken at various continuing legal education seminars on insurance coverage issues. He is the author of a bi-weekly column "Peiper on Property," for the firm's newsletter on first party claims and disputes. Mr. Peiper earned his B.A. degree from Shippensburg University and his J.D. degree from the University at Buffalo Law School. He is a member of the Bar Association of Erie County and the New York State Bar Association. PAUL D. MCCORMICK is a litigator and trial lawyer with the law firm of Goldberg Segalla LLP, with more than 13 years of experience defending corporations and insurance companies in cases involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, products liability, complex toxic tort liability and New York worksite injuries. He has been named to both Buffalo Law Journal's and Business First's 2007 "Who's Who in Law," and Law & Politics magazine's "New York Super Lawyers" 2007. Mr. McCormick practices in courts throughout New York, including the state's appellate courts, and is admitted to practice law before the U.S. District Court for the Western and Northern districts of New York, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court in Washington, D.C. Mr. McCormick is a member of DRI, the Defense Trial Lawyers Association of Western New York, the Western New York Trial Lawyers Association, the New York State Bar Association and the Erie County Bar Association. He recently wrote "Countering Plaintiff's Attempts to Maximize Damages: Communicating with Jurors about Money," an article published in the September 2007 issue of DRI's For The Defense magazine. He is a frequent writer and panelist for continuing legal education seminars on such topics as no-fault insurance coverage, UM/SUM insurance coverage, trial tactics and premises liability. F. DAVID RUSIN is a trial attorney with the Law Offices of William K. Mattar, P.C., where he concentrates his practice on the prosecution of personal injury claims on behalf of injured persons. He has extensive civil trial experience in the areas of personal injury, automobile liability, premises liability and admiralty law. Mr. Rusin is admitted to practice before all courts in New York, the U.S. District Court for the Western and Northern Districts of New York, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a frequent lecturer on a wide variety of topics, including issues related to personal injury, automobile liability, torts, ethics and child sex abuse. Mr. Rusin earned his B.A. degree from The State University of New York at Buffalo and his J.D. degree from the University of Dayton School of Law. AUDREY A. SEELEY is an attorney with the law firm of Hurwitz & Fine, P.C., where she focuses her practice in municipal litigation and environmental counseling, governmental liability, insurance coverage and no-fault coverage, arbitration and litigation. She also handles declaratory judgment actions in state and federal courts across New York State, and monitors out of state litigation for insurance clients. Ms. Seeley handles no-fault arbitration and litigation, as well as loss transfer arbitrations. She is the team leader of the firm's No Fault Practice Group, and regularly provides no fault insurance coverage advice to insurers. Ms. Seeley authors a bi-weekly column on recent developments in no-fault law for the firm's electronic newsletter Coverage Pointers. She has experience providing environmental counseling for municipalities and developers in SEQRA compliance matters. She also has experience advising corporations on compliance with federal and state environmental regulations, such as RCRA, the Clean Water Act, NEPA and OSHA. Ms. Seeley regularly represents clients in land use issues and works with surveyors and engineers on the development of land use strategies. She has made presentations on land use and development before municipal planning groups. Ms. Seeley is the village attorney for the Village of Springville. Ms. Seeley is a member of the Erie County Bar Association Environmental Committee, and the Committee on Eminent Domain and Tax Certiorari. She is a member of Torts, Insurance and Compensation Law Insurance Coverage Committee and the Municipal Law Committee of the New York State Bar Association, and is vice chair of the Insurance Law Committee's Young Lawyers Subsection of the Defense Research Institute, where she also serves as a member of the Steering Committee for the Insurance Coverage and Claims Institute for 2009. Ms. Seeley earned her J.D. degree from the University at Buffalo Law School, where she was an Articles Editor for the Buffalo Environmental Law Journal.
