VICTOR FUSCO is one of the founding members of Fusco, Brandenstein & Rada, P.C., established in 1978. The main focus of the firm's practice is the representation of injured and disabled wage earners in claims for Social Security disability insurance benefits, workers' compensation and related matters, such as long-term disability (group and individual) and New York City and State Employee Disability Pensions. The firm also offers a menu of general legal services plans through various unions and organizations. The firm has offices in Manhattan, the Bronx, Kew Gardens, Hempstead, Commack and Medford and is headquartered in Woodbury. Mr. Fusco is the founding president of the New York Social Security Bar Association, and a founding member of the Social Security Section of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and former board member and past president of the National Organization of Social Security Claimant's Representatives. A long-time advocate for worker health and safety, he is the past president of the Greater New York Safety Council. Mr. Fusco is a frequent lecturer in the areas of Social Security disability, workers' compensation and media relations and communications. His columns appear in numerous union newsletters and local papers. Mr. Fusco earned his B.A. degree from Hofstra University and his J.D. degree from Brooklyn Law School. ABA HEIMAN is an attorney with the Woodbury firm of Fusco, Brandenstein & Rada, P.C. He has been litigating on behalf of disabled workers since 1987. Mr. Heiman handles disability income claims and insurance litigation in state courts and long term disability claims and litigation in federal courts, as well as social security disability cases at all administrative and federal court levels. Before joining Fusco, Brandenstein & Rada, P.C., he served for 13 years as a claims representative for the Social Security Administration. Mr. Heiman has served as a member of a Federal Panel at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. In addition, he is a prolific writer and has had several of his articles published. Mr. Heiman earned his bachelor's degree from City University of New York's Lehman College, his master's degree from Hofstra University and his J.D. degree from Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. He is a member of several professional associations, including the New York State Bar Association, and is frequently called upon to make presentations to local organizations and bar groups on issues relating to disability insurance claims. ERIN MCCABE is an attorney with the Woodbury firm of Fusco, Brandenstein & Rada, P.C., where her areas of expertise include workers' compensation, social security disability, personal injury and wills. She has tried hundreds of cases, handled thousands of hearings and scores of depositions over the years. Ms. McCabe earned her bachelor's degree, cum laude, from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and her J.D. degree from New York Law School. She is a frequent lecturer on legal matters for professional and community organizations. Ms. McCabe is a member of numerous legal associations, including the New York State Women's, New York State, Suffolk County Women's, Suffolk County, American, Injured Workers' and New York Workers' Compensation bar associations. RICHARD P. MORRIS is founding partner of the law firm of Klein, Wagner & Morris LLP, where he concentrates primarily in handling matters before the Social Security Administration. He has handled thousands of cases before the Social Security Administration, and has appeared regularly before the U.S. District Courts and the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Morris is a member of the Council of Past Presidents of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives (NOSSCR). He is currently the secretary/treasurer of the New York Social Security Bar Association and a member of its Board of Trustees since 1981. Mr. Morris has lectured before many groups, including unions, veterans and medical organizations, the Federal Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, New York County Lawyers Association, New York State Trial Lawyers Association and others. He has also testified on several occasions before the subcommittee on Social Security of the Committee on Ways and Means of the United States House of Representatives.
