MICHAEL J. CATALFIMO is a shareholder and managing director in the Albany, New York law firm of Carter, Conboy, Case, Blackmore, Maloney & Laird, P.C., where he currently concentrates his practice in the fields of creditors' rights, business and property law and litigation, family law, and general civil litigation. Mr. Catalfimo earned his his B.A. degree, with all college honors, in government from Skidmore College in 1982 and his J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Boston College Law School in 1985. Mr. Catalfimo is active in numerous professional associations, including the American and New York State bar associations, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Bankruptcy Institute. He sits on the Board of Directors of the American Legal and Financial Network and the Steering Committee of the American Law Firm Association's Business Litigation Practice Group, and is a past-president of both the Washington County Bar Association and the Federation of Bar Associations of the 4th Judicial District. Mr. Catalfimo is a member of the arbitration and mediation panels of the U.S. District Court, Northern District of New York, and a former adjunct professor of business law at Skidmore College. He is a frequent speaker on creditors' rights topics. MARC S. EHRLICH is founding partner of Ehrlich & Arcodia, a law firm offering legal services concentrating in consumer bankruptcy and real estate. He is a two time winner of the Distinguished Service Award for Private Attorney Involvement for pro bono work by the Legal Aid Society of Northeastern New York, Inc., and was awarded the President's Pro Bono Service Attorney Award by the New York State Bar Association in 2001. Mr. Ehrlich has served as a Chapter 7 panel trustee for the Northern District of New York since 1991. He received his B.A. degree from Hobart & William Smith Colleges and his J.D. degree from Syracuse University. Mr. Ehrlich is a member of the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees and the New York State Bar Association. PAUL A. LEVINE is a member of the Albany law firm of Lemery Greisler LLC, where he practices in the areas of bankruptcy, creditors' rights and commercial litigation. In the area of bankruptcy, Mr. Levine brings broad experience to bear on behalf of creditors, presently serving as a Chapter 7 panel trustee and representing secured creditors, unsecured creditors, administrative and priority creditors, debtors, and Chapters 7 and 11 trustees in cases before the United States bankruptcy courts. Mr. Levine litigates in bankruptcy court, both federal and state trial courts, and New York and federal appellate courts. He was the 2003 president of the Capitol Region Bankruptcy Bar Association and served as chairperson of its 2000 Annual Conference in Cooperstown, New York, an event which attracts national speakers. He also is a member of the New York State and American bar associations and the District of Columbia Bar. Mr. Levine speaks and writes regularly on bankruptcy related topics. He received his B.S. degree from Ithaca College and his J.D. degree from George Washington University. KEVIN B. THIEMANN is an attorney in the law firm of Robert J. Gagen in Hudson, New York, where his areas of practice include bankruptcy, commercial litigation, municipal and land use planning. He earned his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Syracuse University. Mr. Thiemann is a member for the Columbia County Bar (treasurer), and the New York State and American bar associations.
