STEPHEN E. DIAMOND is an attorney with Vergilis, Stenger, Roberts, Davis & Diamond, LLP, where he practices primarily in the areas of estate planning, business formation and transactions, and elder law issues. He frequently lectures on topics of estate and retirement planning and elder law issues. Mr. Diamond is a charter member and past president of the Financial Planning Association of the Hudson Valley, and a member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys. He also is a member of the Dutchess County, Massachusetts and New York State bar associations, and The Florida Bar. Mr. Diamond earned his B.S. degree from Marist College, his J.D. degree from Pepperdine University at Malibu and his LL.M. degree from the University of Florida at Gainesville. TARA A. PLEAT is a co-owner and co-manager of the law firm of Wilcenski & Pleat PLLC. Ms. Pleat practices in the areas of trust and estate administration; special needs estates planning; trust, estate and tax planning for residents of New York and Florida; and long term care planning and elder law. She is a cum laude graduate of Albany Law School, with honors in the estate planning concentration. Ms. Pleat earned her undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Albany. During law school, she worked full-time as a trusts and estates paralegal in an Albany law firm. Ms. Pleat is an active member of the Special Needs Planning Committee of the Elder Law Section of the New York State Bar Association and a member of the Taxation Committee of the Trusts and Estates Section. In addition, she recently was admitted as a member of the Special Needs Alliance, an invitation only, national network of leading disability attorneys who practice in the areas of special needs trusts and public benefits. Ms. Pleat frequently speaks on estate planning and administration, special needs planning, and related disability issues for state and local bar associations, community organizations and parent groups. She also speaks annually at Senior Citizens Law Day sponsored by Albany Law School. PHILLIP M. TRIBBLE has been practicing law in the Capital District since 1979. He has offices in Clifton Park and Kinderhook, New York. He graduated from Valparaiso University with a B.A. degree in 1972; from Yale University School of Divinity with an MAR degree in 1975; and from Albany Law School in 1978, receiving a J.D. degree. Mr. Tribble is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Elder Law Section and the Trust and Estates Section of the New York Bar Association, The National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Albany County Bar Association, the Columbia County Bar Association and the Saratoga County Bar Association. He has lectured on elder and Medicaid law for the Elder Law Section of the New York Bar Association; on Medicaid, estate planning and estate administration for National Business Institute; and he has been a guest speaker on estate planning for the CSEA Union Northern Region. Mr. Tribble's practice is concentrated in the areas of estate and Medicaid planning, elder law, probate and estate administration and real estate.
