JAMES ALTERBAUM is a senior partner in the Corporate and Securities Department of the New York law firm of Moses & Singer LLP. Mr. Alterbaum has more than 30 years of experience in corporate, securities, commercial and computer law, and has a background in accounting and finance. A dynamic speaker and prolific author, he has appeared on CNBC's Money Talk and Today's Business, has written numerous trade articles and has been interviewed by several publications, including The New York Times, Long Island Business News and Entrepreneur magazine. Mr. Alterbaum currently serves on the Portfolio Advisory Board of the Eugene M. Lang Center for Entrepreneurship at Columbia University's School of Business and lectures regularly to Columbia's MBAs. He is a recipient of the University's "Mentor of the Year" award. Mr. Alterbaum earned his B.S. degree, summa cum laude, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and his J.D. degree from Yale University. IGOR BILEWICH is a partner with the law firm of Jaspan Schlesinger LLP, where his practice includes the transactional and substantive areas of corporate, commercial, employment and municipal law. He is admitted to practice law in New York and the United States District Court of the Eastern and Southern districts of New York. Mr. Bilewich has participated in many continuing legal education programs as both chair and speaker for the New York State Bar Association CLE Program, the Nassau Academy of Law, the Suffolk County Bar Association and the St. John's University School of Law CLE Program. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Commerce Plaza, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation that seeks to foster the entrepreneurial spirit in children through classroom and actual experiential instruction. Mr. Bilewich is a member of the Nassau County (member and past chair, Corporation Law and By-Laws committees; member, Computer Law Committee), New York State and American (member, Business Law, General Practice and Health Law sections) bar associations. He earned his B.A. degree from Fordham University and his J.D. degree from Hofstra University School of Law. WILLIAM CORNACHIO is a partner with Rivkin Radler LLP, in the firm's Corporate & Commercial and Real Estate, Zoning & Land Use practice groups. He focuses his practice on general corporate matters, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, loan and equity financings, real estate finance and other commercial lending. Mr. Cornachio counsels a number of middle market level companies which have business operations or real estate interests on Long Island. He had handled a variety of complex corporate transactions. Mr. Cornachio earned his B.A. degree from Colgate University and his J.D. degree from Fordham University School of Law. He is a member of the Commercial and Industrial Brokers Society (CIBS) and the American (Business and Banking Law Committee) and New York State (Business and Banking Law Committee) bar associations. HOWARD FIELSTEIN is chairman of Margolin, Winer & Evens LLP's business valuation practice group and specializes in investigative accounting and business valuations. He has an extensive financial background and has developed considerable expertise in highly complex and technical accounting and auditing issues. Mr. Fielstein has qualified as an expert witness and provided testimony in federal and state courts. He has been court-appointed as a neutral appraiser and as an examiner of businesses in connection with various types of matters, and he is an approved member of the Mediation Panel of the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. Mr. Fielstein is a Certified Public Accountant, accredited in business valuation, a certified fraud examiner, certified insolvency and restructuring advisor, certified turnaround professional, certified valuation analyst, and certified business appraiser. He has lectured and written articles on various corporate insolvency issues and litigation and valuation related topics. Mr. Fielstein earned his B.S. degree from Brooklyn College. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the American Society of Appraisers, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the Institute of Business Appraisers, the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (Bankruptcy and Insolvency Committee, Business Valuation Committee, Litigation Committee), as well as other organizations. PAUL MARQUEZ is a principal with Sigma Valuation Consulting, Inc. He also is a Certified Public Accountant in New York and Delaware. Mr. Marquez is a seasoned valuation professional and non-practicing attorney; focusing on business appraisal, forensic valuation and accounting; commercial litigation; economic damages; and intellectual property. He has testified in federal and state courts, as well as in arbitration and medication hearings. Mr. Marquez earned his B.S. degree from the University of Delaware and his J.D. degree from Delaware Law School of Widener University. He is a frequent speaker and writer and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the New York State Society of CPAs. Mr. Marquez also is a member of the American and New York State bar associations, as well as the American Society of Appraisers, and the Institute of Business Appraisers.
