JAMES O. BOURDEAU is a partner in the law firm of Nixon Peabody LLP, where he practices in the areas of limited liability companies, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions and computers and software. He has lectured to various groups and organizations on areas related to his practice. Mr. Bourdeau is a member of the Monroe County, New York State and American bar associations. He earned his B.S. degree, with distinction, from Clarkson University and his J.D. degree, summa cum laude, from Syracuse University. KRISTIN S. COFFEY serves as senior business valuation specialist at Mengel, Metzger, Barr & Co. LLP (MMB), a multi-office regional accounting and business valuation firm located in Upstate, New York. Since joining MMB, Ms. Coffey has been involved in the valuation of various equity classes for companies operating in the manufacturing, construction, retail, healthcare, and professional services industries, among others. She is a member of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analyst (NACVA) and regularly attends both NACVA and American Society of Appraisers (ASA) Upstate New York Chapter meetings. Ms. Coffey periodically publishes articles on valuation issues in the Daily Record, a daily periodical for trial lawyers and judges in New York State. She graduated from Hobart & William Smith Colleges with a Bachelor of Arts degree, and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Fordham University. Ms. Coffey earned her Accredited Valuation Analyst (AVA) designation from the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA). ANTHONY J. MORABITO is a partner with Morabito & Company, CPA's in Rochester, New York. Mr. Morabito assists closely-held companies, attorneys and other CPA firms in engagements involving business valuations, forensic accounting and family law matters. He has prepared valuations for estate and gift tax, family law including enhanced earnings, business damages, buy-sell agreements, shareholder litigation, buying and selling businesses, mergers and acquisitions, ESOP's and stock option valuation. Mr. Morabito earned his B.S. degree from State of New York at New Paltz, and his M.S. degree from Marist College. He is an accredited senior appraiser (ASA) and a certified valuation analyst (CVA). Mr. Morabito also has earned the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and CFF designations. As a business valuator he provides expert testimony in connection with a variety of matters and lectures to various professional organizations. Mr. Morabito is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, American Society of Appraisers and the Institute of Business Appraisers. JAMES P. SCHNELL has previous experience at both national and regional firms. He brings more than 14 years of tax specialization to Mengel, Metzger, Barr & Co. LLP, including business and tax planning strategies. Mr. Schnell is a certified valuation analyst and accredited in business valuation. He also performs business valuation and related services for a variety of purposes. Mr. Schnell is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts and Turnaround Management Association. He earned his B.S. degree from Canisius College.
