JOHN P. FEROLETO is a principal in the firm of John P. Feroleto, Attorney at Law, where he has practiced for more than 25 years. He has presented for national, state, provincial and local associations, including the American Association for Justice, New York State Trial Lawyers Association, Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and various local and regional professional groups. Mr. Feroleto has served as the chair of the National Interstate Trucking Litigation Group of the American Association of Justice and represents individuals injured by defective products, and those injured at construction sites or the workplace and trucking, and transportation collisions. JONATHAN S. HICKEY is a founding member of the law firm of Burden, Gulisano & Hickey, LLC. His areas of practice include trucking and transportation negligence, labor law, premises and product liability, and appellate practice. Mr. Hickey is admitted to practice before all New York state courts and Pennsylvania state courts, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit, U.S. District Court (Western and Northern Districts of New York) and the Western District of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. He is a member of the Defense Research Institute (Trucking Law Committee), the New York State Bar Association (Torts, Insurance and Compensation Law sections), Erie County Bar Association (Negligence Committee), Western New York and Western New York Defense Trial Lawyers Association, Desmond Inn of Court and the UB Law Alumni Association. Mr. Hickey earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from St. Bonaventure University and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from The State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law. MICHELLE M. PARKER is a partner in the law firm of Anspach Meeks Ellenberger LLP, where her practice focuses on the defense of FELA litigation, professional malpractice, personal injury litigation, insurance coverage, municipal liability and workplace safety. Ms. Parker has lectured on numerous litigation topics for CLEs held by the Bar Association of Erie County, National Business Institute (NBI) and the New York Bar Association. She has been a guest on WNED-AM's The Law Line several times to discuss legal issues. Ms. Parker taught civil litigation to paralegal students at Hilbert College for 5 years. She is a member of the Erie County Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, Defense Trial Lawyers of WNY, American Bar Association, Western New York Trial Lawyers Association, Women's Bar Association and the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel. Ms. Parker earned her B.A. degree from Canisius College and her J.D. degree from the University of Buffalo. MICHAEL F. PERLEY is a member of the Litigation Department of Hurwitz & Fine, P.C., in Buffalo where he focuses his practice in municipal law, product liability, professional liability, complex litigation and catastrophic injury litigation. Mr. Perley received his J.D. degree from Duke University School of Law and his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from the College of Holy Cross. Mr. Perley is admitted to practice in the state of New York and the United States courts for the Western and Northern districts of New York, the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Claims Court. He is a past director (1999-2001) and member of the Western New York Trial Lawyers Association, a member of the Defense Research Institute and is president of the Buffalo Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He is a member of the Municipal and School Law Committee of the Erie County Bar Association, and a member of the Municipal Law and the Torts, Insurance and Compensation Law sections of the New York State Bar Association. LEONARD D. ZACCAGNINO is a partner with the law firm of Shaw & Shaw, P.C., where he practices in the areas of personal injury litigation, general civil litigation and civil and trial law. He spends most of his time representing plaintiff civil actions, as well as criminal and trial work. Mr. Zaccagnino has also been chosen as an arbitrator in numerous arbitration proceedings involving claims for personal injuries. He has spoken on behalf of the Young Lawyers Section of the Erie County Bar Association on "Lawyer Advertising for the Small to Medium Size Firms," the New York State Bar Association on "No Fault Insurance," Hilbert College on "Civil Litigation and Trial Practice" and at numerous seminars on issues dealing with civil litigation.
