TODD C. BUSHWAY is an attorney with Hurwitz & Fine, P.C. and is a member of the firm's litigation department, where he defends clients in municipal, construction negligence, labor law negligence and product liability matters. DOHERTY M.D. is a neurologist in Lewiston, New York, where her primary areas of interest include traumatic brain injury and post-traumatic stress disorder, as well as headache and dementia. She is Board Certified in Neurology. Dr. Doherty started private practice in Niagara Falls, New York with Niagara Neurological Associates. Subsequently, she joined UB's Neurology Department at Buffalo General Hospital as an Assistant Clinical Professor. Dr. Doherty returned to a solo private practice in Lockport, New York from which she retired in 2004. In 2006, she obtained additional subspecialty certification in headache medicine. MALOVICH RNC, CWS, LNC, RAC-CT is a legal nurse consultant in Alden, New York. Ms. Malovich has worked as a nurse in both the hospital and long-term care setting. Her nursing experience includes post-partum and neonatal intensive care, long-term care, sub-acute care and long-term ventilator care. Ms. Malovich has been a nurse educator in long-term care for the past sixteen years for the Erie County Medical Center Corporation. She began her own legal nurse consultant business and has worked with both plaintiff and defense attorneys reviewing medical records and as a potential expert witness in the areas of wound care, long-term care and nursing standards of practice. Ms. Malovich is a member of the New York State Nurse's Association, the American Academy of Wound Management and the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants. She received her registered nurse license after graduating from Saint Joseph's Hospital Health Center School of Nursing. Ms. Malovich became a Certified Gerontological Nurse from SUNY, Buffalo, School of Nursing and a Board Certified Wound Specialist with the American Academy of Wound Management. She became a legal nurse consultant, a Certified Pain Assessment and Management Nurse after attending SUNY, Erie Community College.
