MICHAEL K. WALL is a partner with the Las Vegas law firm of Hutchison & Steffen LLC, where his areas of practice include appellate practice, landlord and tenant law, insurance defense, and commercial litigation. He served on the Nevada Supreme Court's Central Legal Staff for more than 13 years and he was supervisor of the staff for 10 of those years. Mr. Wall has lectured on appellate law issues at seminars sponsored by the Nevada Supreme Court, the Nevada Judicial Association, the Nevada Trial Lawyer's Association and National Business Institute (among others) on numerous occasions. He received his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, and his J.D. degree from the University of Utah, Salt Lake City. Mr. Wall was a member of the Nevada Supreme Court's Committee on Revision of Post Conviction Remedies, was chair of the Intermediate Appellate Court Committee, and has served on a number of other Nevada Supreme Court and District Court committees. He is presently a member of the Nevada Supreme Court's prestigious Bench Bar Committee. Mr. Wall is a member of the Utah State Bar and the State Bar of Nevada. BRIAN P. WORTHINGTON is a partner in the law firm of Ryan Mercaldo & Worthington LLP, where his practice is concentrated in the areas of civil litigation, insurance coverage and appellate practice. He has lectured for various professional groups on insurance coverage and appellate law. Mr. Worthington is admitted to practice in California, Illinois and Nevada. He is a member of the San Diego County (former chair, Appellate Court Committee) and Clark County bar associations. Mr. Worthington is the chair of the San Diego County Delegation to the California State Bar Conference. He earned his B.A. degree, with honors, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his J.D. degree from the University of San Diego.
