SARAH V. CARRASCO is a sole practitioner, practicing in the areas of creditors' rights in bankruptcy and state court, commercial litigation, real property litigation and represents lenders in foreclosure mediation. She has served on various seminar panels on collections issues in bankruptcy, foreclosures, and land-lord tenant issues in bankruptcy. Ms. Carrasco previously taught a bankruptcy course at Truckee Meadows Community College. She has been recognized by the Washoe County Law Library for her participation in the Lawyer Library Program. Ms. Carrasco is a member of the Washoe County Bar Association, the Arizona Bar Association, the Northern Nevada Women Lawyer's Association, and the Northern Nevada Bankruptcy Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in the states of Nevada and Arizona and in the U.S. District Court, District of Nevada. Ms. Carrasco earned her B.S. degree at the University of Nevada, Reno and her J.D. degree at William S. Boyd School of Law Las Vegas. ELIZABETH M. FIELDER is a member of Jones Vargas's transactional practice group, focusing on real estate and business transactions. Ms. Fielder's practice includes representing real estate buyers, sellers, developers, homebuilders, landlords, tenants, lenders, borrowers and small business owners. She has worked on matters involving real property acquisitions and dispositions, commercial and residential CC&Rs and related development documents, association issues, leasing transactions, lending transactions, easements, licenses, commercial foreclosures, deficiency issues, loan workouts, and bankruptcy related real property issues. Ms. Fielders is active in the community, providing pro bono legal services to arts groups and museums, and teaching courses at the University of Nevada, Reno. She is the 2009 president of the Commercial Real Estate Women of Northern Nevada (CREW), and sits on the board of the Northern Nevada chapter of the National Association of Office and Industrial Properties (NAIOP). Representative clients include Basin Street Properties and the Nevada Discovery Museum. Ms. Fielder is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts of Nevada, and is a member of the Washoe County and American bar associations. She earned her B.S. degree from the University of Nevada, Reno and her J.D. degree from Santa Clara University. ROBERT J. FRY is a partner in the law firm of Fry & Berning LLC, where he practices primarily in real estate, wills, trusts and estate planning, and probate. He is a frequent speaker on probate, estate planning and related topics. Mr. Fry earned his B.A. degree, with distinction, from the University of Nevada at Reno, and his J.D. and his LL.M. degrees from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law. He is a member of the State Bar of Nevada, the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association, the State Bar of California, the American Bar Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. DAVID A. HORNBECK is a lawyer in private practice in Reno, Nevada, where a substantial part of his civil litigation practice deals with environmental matters. He formerly served as a Deputy Attorney General of the State of Nevada where he exclusively represented the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection in administrative appeals and civil litigation in state and federal courts, and other matters related to the Division's enforcement of the environmental laws of Nevada. He received his B.S. degree in physics and mathematics from the University of Nevada, Reno, and his J.D. degree from the UOP, McGeorge School of Law where he served on the International Moot Court Honors Board and as President of the Pacific International Law Society. Mr. Hornbeck is a member of the State Bar of Nevada and the State Bar of California, and is admitted to federal district courts in Nevada and California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
