MICHAEL A. KONING has been a personal injury litigation trial attorney for more than 30 years. He is a member of the State Bar of Nevada. Mr. Koning worked the first eighteen years of his legal career as an insurance defense attorney. He has represented plaintiffs for the last fourteen years and presently practices as a sole practitioner. During the course of his career, Mr. Koning has participated in and directed the litigation of thousands of personal injury lawsuits, including having been lead attorney in approximately eighty trials. Mr. Koning presently serves as a Judge Pro Tempore in the Nevada Short Trial Program and as a volunteer judge for the Clark County Bar Association's Trial by Peers Program. He earned his J.D. degree from American University, Washington College of Law. JAMES R. NANCE is a partner with Cohen, Johnson & Day in Henderson, Nevada. He practices primarily in litigation with an emphasis in personal injury. Mr. Nance also handles business and real estate litigation. He is a member of the State Bar of Nevada and California and the Utah State Bar. Mr. Nance earned his B.S. degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and his J.D. degree from William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV.
FARHAN NAQVI is the managing shareholder and owner of Personal Injury of Nevada. His practice is focused entirely in the area of personal injury law. Over the past eight years, he has successfully handled over one thousand personal injury matters through various stages of the claims and litigation phases. Between 2004 and 2008, Mr. Naqvi litigated hundreds of cases at one of Nevada's largest personal injury firms, where he often managed a litigation caseload of more than 200 cases at a time. Prior to that, he was an insurance defense lawyer, representing, in large part, the rights of corporations and insurance companies. He graduated, cum laude, from the University of Arizona, where he was also a recipient of the Dean's Academic Achievement Award Scholarship and served as a member of the College of Law Executive Committee. Prior to law school, Mr. Naqvi studied in Canada, where he graduated as both an Ontario Scholar and Merit graduate - titles bestowed upon those among the top of their class academically.
