KIM BOYER is a founder in the Las Vegas law firm of Boyer Law Group, where she concentrates her practice in the areas of elder law, guardianship, probate, Medicaid and veterans benefits, and long-term care planning. Ms. Boyer is a certified elder law attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation. She is a frequent lecturer on aging and elder law topics, having spoken for the Nevada Geriatric Education Center, the Clark County Bar Association and the ASDO Annual Conference on Caregiving. Ms. Boyer earned her J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from the University of San Diego School of Law. She is a member of the State Bar of Nevada, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the National Guardianship Association. She is co-author of the book Alzheimer's and Dementia: A Practical and Legal Guide for Nevada Caregivers, published by the University of Nevada Reno Press. ELYSE M. TYRELL is a partner in the Las Vegas law firm of Trent, Tyrell & Associates, where her practice is devoted to elder law, estate planning, tax law, probate and guardianship law. She is a member of the Clark County Bar Association, the Elder Law Section of the State Bar of Nevada and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Ms. Tyrell is a certified elder law attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation. She is a frequent speaker for National Business Institute and has lectured on estate planning and elder law for the Housing Authority of the city of Las Vegas, the Community College of Southern Nevada and various seminar groups. Ms. Tyrell earned her B.A. degree from the University of Nevada at Reno, her J.D. degree from Gonzaga University School of Law and her LL.M. degree from the University of San Diego School of Law.
