JOHN MITCHELL COBEAGA founded The Cobeaga Law Firm after 26 years with the law firm of Beckley, Singleton, Jemison, Cobeaga & List, Chtd., where he was a senior partner and CEO. He specializes in civil litigation, with an emphasis in aviation and insurance-related matters. His experience also includes premises liability, products liability, the defense of legal malpractice actions and catastrophic personal injury law. Mr. Cobeaga is a frequent lecturer at continuing legal education and industry seminars involving aviation law, insurance coverage issues, premises liability and security issues, and litigation practice and technique. He serves as a judge pro tem in the 8th Judicial District Court Short Trial Program. Mr. Cobeaga earned his B.S. degree from the United States Air Force Academy and his J.D. degree, with distinction, from McGeorge School of Law. He is a past president of the Clark County Bar Association, and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, the American College of Trial Attorneys and the Red River Valley Fighter Pilots Association. He served as a fighter pilot in the U.S. Air Force for seven years before attending law school. Mr. Cobeaga was a founding member of the Nevada Inns of Court and holds the position of Master Emeritus of the Inn. SAM A. HARDING is a partner in the law firm of Bourgault & Harding, where he practices in the areas of plaintiff personal injury, including serious personal injury cases (wrongful death and brain injury); product liability; insurance bad faith; and medical malpractice. Prior to practicing in the areas of plaintiff personal injury, he had more than 15 years of experience as an insurance defense attorney. Mr. Harding is an associate of the American Board of Trial Advocacy and a member of the American Bar Association and the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association. He has tried more than 100 jury trials. Mr. Harding earned his B.A. degree from Oklahoma State University, his M.B.A. degree from Southern Illinois University and his J.D. degree from the University of Oklahoma.
