JOHN M. ECCLES is an attorney in the Las Vegas law firm of Trent, Tyrell & Phillips, where he focuses his practice on family law, including divorce and child custody, child support and guardianship issues. He is a former adjunct professor at Las Vegas College where he taught classes to paralegals on family law and criminal law. Mr. Eccles is a member of the U.S. Supreme Court Bar, the State Bar of Nevada, the District of Columbia, and the Family Law Section of the Clark County Bar Association. He also is licensed before the 9th Circuit U.S. Court Of Appeals. Mr. Eccles earned his B.A. degree from the University of Toledo and his J.D. degree from the University of Toledo College of Law. ROBERT W. LUECK has more than three decades of experience in civil, criminal and family law. Mr. Lueck graduated from the Notre Dame Law School and moved to Las Vegas to begin his legal career as a law clerk in the 8th Judicial District Court. He earned his license to practice law, and was engaged in the private practice of law, when he was elected to the Family Court bench. Mr. Lueck served as a Family Court Judge from 1999 through 2004, and then resumed the private practice of law. As a skilled legal researcher and writer, he has written briefs and argued cases before the Nevada Supreme Court that set legal precedents in Nevada. Mr. Lueck brought the collaborative divorce process to Nevada and has worked to expand its application to family law cases. He is a member of the American Bar Association Family Law and ADR sections, a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, a co-founder of the Collaborative Professionals of Nevada, and a member of the State Bar of Nevada, the Clark County Bar Association, Mensa, Nevada Justice Attorneys, and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. Mr. Lueck is trained in mediation and collaborative divorce and also serves as an arbitrator in the court-annexed arbitration program. He also is a candidate for the Master of Judicial Studies degree at the University of Nevada - Reno and is pending the completion of his master's thesis review. DANIEL MARKS is a sole practitioner of his law firm in Las Vegas where he practices in labor, employment and domestic law. Mr. Marks earned his A.B. degree, with honors, from Colgate University and his J.D. degree from the College of William and Mary Law School. He is certified with the National Board of Trial Advocacy and he has spoken before numerous professional groups. Mr. Marks is a member of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, the American Bar Association and the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association. MARVIN SNYDER is president of Marvin Snyder Associates, Inc., in Las Vegas. He is a professional qualified pension actuary with more than 30 years of experience. Mr. Snyder has served as a pension consultant for pension plans, annuity plans and profit sharing plans of all types and sizes for a variety of employers, covering all kinds of employees. He has prepared more than 9000 marital pension valuations, drafted hundreds of QDROs for counsel, and has served as an expert witness on the value and equitable distribution of pension benefits more than 100 times. In addition, he has served as a court appointed expert and as a special master. Mr. Snyder has written numerous articles, has spoken at many seminars including the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and National Judicial College, and has lectured at Temple University, Purdue University and the Institute of Paralegal Training in Philadelphia. He is the author of the book Value of Pensions in Divorce, 3rd Ed., Panel Publishers New York, 1999. Mr. Snyder is a member of the International Actuarial Association, the American Academy of Actuaries and the American Society of Pension Actuaries.
