JAMIE S. COGBURN is a partner at Cogburn Law Offices in Las Vegas, where he concentrates his practice in the areas of civil litigation, business litigation, commercial litigation and bad faith litigation. Mr. Cogburn earned his B.A. degree at the University of Nevada and his J.D. degree at Thomas Jefferson School of Law. TIMOTHY S. CORY is an attorney with the Law Offices of Timothy S. Cory & Associates. Mr. Cory has primarily concentrated his legal practice in the area of bankruptcy, business restructuring, real estate and federal litigation. He was a legislative assistant to the Honorable Howard W. Cannon, U.S. Senator for the State of Nevada, and acted as assistant director of forensics at Brigham Young University. Mr. Cory has also served as a part-time faculty member of Brigham Young University, where he taught speech and argumentation and served as a faculty representative to the Inter-Collegiate Debate and Forensics Team of Brigham Young University. He is a member of the Nevada State Bar, American and Clark County bar associations, National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees and the Nevada Law Foundation. Mr. Cory has been regularly appointed as Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Trustee in the Bankruptcy Court of Nevada. He has also served as a special master and a receiver in the Eighth Judicial District Court, Clark County, Nevada. He earned his B.A. degree from Brigham Young University, his M.A. degree from Brigham Young University and his J.D. degree from Washington College of Law, American University, Washington, D.C. DAVID M. FISHMAN is the president of ARBITRONIX, Inc., where he facilitates the employment of a debt intervention strategy as a business tool for the entrepreneur of the new millennium. ARBITRONIX, Inc. was a finalist with the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce for “Small Business of the Year.” Mr. Fishman has taught business law at Cypress Community College, community property at Coast Line Community College, real estate at a law school, and special adult education business classes in debt and credit at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He is a frequent speaker to a variety of organizations on the many aspects of debt. Mr. Fishman is the author of the book Third Party Debt Intervention A-Z and has written a consumer based “ do it yourself ” debt negotiation kit designed to aid anyone who wants to settle his or her own credit card or other consumer type debt. He is a trained professional mediator having more than 100 hours of practical training, including the training offered by the Las Vegas Justice Center and mediation training in domestic relations and domestic violence. Mr. Fishman received his B.S. degree from San Jose State College and his J.D. degree from Hastings College of Law in San Francisco. As a member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Consumer Debt Settlement Companies, Turnaround Management Association and a consistent featured speaker for the prestigious National Business Institute, Mr. Fishman continues to lead the way in the development of the third party debt settlement industry both from the standpoint of Mr. and Mrs. John Doe consumer, and from the standpoint of the American commercial business enterprise.
