ANTHONY L. BARNEY is the president and sole shareholder of Anthony L. Barney, LTD, where he practices in the areas of estate planning and business planning, including the preparation of wills, revocable living trusts, revocable trusts and irrevocable trusts, including domestic asset protection trusts. He prepares real estate transactions related to estate planning, which include transfers on death deeds (beneficiary deeds), trust deeds and agreements relating to real estate. Mr. Barney assists clients in probate and trust administration, prepares and assists in the preparation of federal estate tax returns and represents fiduciaries in litigation relating to wills, trusts and estate matters. He earned his B.S. degree from Brigham Young University, his M.S. degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and his J.D. degree and L.L.M. degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City. Mr. Barney is licensed to practice law in Nevada and Idaho, and is fluent in the Spanish language. He is a member of the Southern Nevada Estate Planning Council, State Bar of Nevada, Idaho State Bar and serves as a professional advisor to various local charities in the southern Nevada region. KENNETH A. BURNS is an attorney with the Las Vegas law firm of Kolesar & Leatham, where he practices primarily in estate planning, estate administration, probate, tax, business and tax litigation. He is a lecturer for CLE seminars on estate planning issues and tax issues. Mr. Burns earned his B.B.A. degree, with honors, from Delta State University, his M.A. degree from the University of Hawaii and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Miami. He is a member of the State Bar of Nevada. GREG J. CARLSON is an attorney in the business law department of Lionel Sawyer & Collins, where he practices in the area of business law with an emphasis in tax and estate planning. Mr. Carlson is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant by the Florida Board of Accountancy (licensed in Florida only) and holds a Master of Accountancy in tax. He has worked as a law clerk for the claim legal group of a national insurance company, as a tax intern in an Orange County office of a national accounting and tax firm, and as an estate planning assistant for a law firm. Mr. Carlson earned his B.S. degree, magna cum laude, from Brigham Young University and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. He is admitted by the State Bar of Nevada. DANIEL V. GOODSELL is a founding partner in the Las Vegas law firm of Goodsell & Olsen, where his practice is concentrated in the areas of estate planning, asset protection, business succession planning, elder law, guardianships, Medicaid planning and business entity law. He is a frequent lecturer on estate planning and asset protection topics. Mr. Goodsell earned his B.S. degree, with university honors, from Brigham Young University and his J.D. degree from the University of Utah College of Law. He is certified by the National Association of Elder Law Attorney's as a specialist in Elder Law. Mr. Goodsell is a member of the Utah State Bar, the State Bar of Nevada and the State Bar of California. He also is a member of the Nevada Society of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys and the Southern Nevada Estate Planning Council.
