DAVID A. COLVIN is an shareholder with the Las Vegas law firm of Marquis Aurbach Coffing. He has primarily focused his practice in the areas of bankruptcy, debtor/creditor rights and Indian law since 1990. Mr. Colvin represents clients in the state and federal courts and has traveled extensively to other jurisdictions in advocating his clients' interests. He taught as an adjunct professor of bankruptcy at the Community College of Southern Nevada for 12 years. Mr. Colvin received his Bachelor's degree and his Juris Doctorate degree from Brigham Young University. He serves on the board of Southern Nevada Association of Bankruptcy Attorneys. TROY FOX is a nationally certified bankruptcy attorney with the firm of Crosby & Associates. Attorneys at Crosby & Associates take numerous hours of bankruptcy training each year to keep apprised of the latest bankruptcy developments. The firm has also been involved in the Nevada Foreclosure Mediation Program, since it first started in 2009. POSIN has been recognized by his peers as an outstanding attorney. Mr. Posin was recognized by the Clark County Bar Association as a Pro Bono Superstar for the work he has performed at no cost to low income clients. He is a member in good standing of the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, the Clark County Bar Association, the Nevada Bar Association, the Arizona Bar Association and the American Bar Association and was recognized in 2009 by the Attorney Guide for being one of Las Vegas' Certified Ethical Attorneys. Most recently, Mr. Posin was chosen to serve on the State Bar of Nevada Clients' Security Fund Committee, which seeks to reimburse clients for losses due to an attorney misappropriating client funds. He was admitted to the Arizona Bar and the Nevada Bar and he is admitted to practice in all the state and county Courts in Nevada, as well as Arizona, the United States Bankruptcy Court, as well as the United States District Court, District of Southern Nevada. Mr. Posin attended Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance. He continued onto law school at the University Of Arizona College Of Law where he earned his J.D. degree. He graduated with high honors from law school and was named both magna cum laude and an Order of the Coif upon graduation. DAVID A. STEPHENS is a partner in the Las Vegas law firm of Stephens, Gourley & Bywater where he concentrates his practice in the areas of construction, lien, commercial, water, bankruptcy, real estate, general civil litigation and personal injury. He has spoken to various civil groups on tort law, disability law, estate planning and insurance. Mr. Stephens is a member of the State Bar of Nevada, Clark County Bar Association and Southern Nevada Association of Bankruptcy Attorneys. He earned his B.S. degree from Brigham Young University and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Brigham Young University, J. Reuben Clark Law School. ELIZABETH STEPHENS is of counsel to the firm Sullivan Hill Lewin Rez & Engel, where she practices in the area of insolvency and bankruptcy, primarily representing trustees and creditors in consumer bankruptcies. She is also an experienced appellate lawyer, having successfully litigated before the 9th Circuit, the 9th Circuit Bankruptcy Appellate Panel, courts of the District of Nevada and the Supreme Court of the State of Nevada. She is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court. She earned her B.A. degree from Alverno College and her J.D. degree from Marquette University, where she was a staff editor of the Marquette Law Review. As an assistant state public defender for the State of Wisconsin in the Appellate Division, she litigated hundreds of criminal appeals in the state and federal courts. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Stephens also represented consumer debtors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies. Ms. Stephens is a member of the State Bar of Nevada, and is admitted to practice before the 9th Circuit and the District of Nevada. She is a member of American Bankruptcy Institute and the Southern Nevada Association of Bankruptcy Attorneys, from which she received its first Pro Bono award.
