ALEXIA CONSTANTARAS is an attorney with Montgomery & Andrews, P.A., where her practice areas include civil rights, commercial law, corporate law, education law, employment law, insurance defense, litigation, medical malpractice defense, personal injury and real estate. She speaks seven languages including French, Greek and Spanish. Ms. Constantaras is admitted to practice before the New Mexico State Courts, the U.S. District Court of New Mexico and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. She is a member of the First Judicial District and American bar associations, the State Bar of New Mexico and the New Mexico Defense Lawyers Association. Ms. Constantaras earned her B.A. degree, with honors, from the University of New Mexico and her J.D. degree the the University of New Mexico School of Law where she served as the editor of the Natural Resource Journal. ORLANDO LUCERO is vice president/escrow officer at Stewart Title of Albuquerque LLC. He joined Stewart Title in 2004 after 20 years as a real estate lawyer in private practice. A graduate of Stanford University and Stanford Law School, Mr. Lucero's practice emphasized complex real estate transactions of all types. He now focuses on closing complex commercial transactions. Mr. Lucero is a frequent lecturer and writer on topics related to real estate transactions, title insurance and business entities. He is a contributing author to The Commercial Property Lease, Vols. II and III (American Bar Association 1997 and 2000); co-author of "Tenant Remedies: an Oxymoron" published in Probate and Property (January/February 1998) and The Best of the American Bar Association (Fall 1998); and the author of "The Nuts and Bolts of Commercial Lease Listing Agreements" published in Probate and Property (July/August 2000). Mr. Lucero currently is the chair of the Real Estate Law Section of the State Bar of New Mexico; is a member of the council of the American Bar Association Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Trust Section; and he also chairs the section's Standing Committee on Diversity. KELCEY NICHOLS is an associate with The Simons Firm, LLP, where her practice focuses on land title litigation and general litigation. Before practicing law, she worked in publishing and public relations. Ms. Nichols has been involved in the Berman Environmental Law Clinic; senior articles editor for the Shidler Journal for Law, Technology and Commerce; and finalist in the American Indian Law Review writing competition (2006-2007). She is admitted to practice before all New Mexico state courts and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico. Ms. Nichols received her A.B. degree from Barnard College, Columbia University (Phi Beta Kappa) and her J.D. degree from the University of Washington School of Law. SUZANNE C. ODOM is of counsel with the law firm of Montgomery & Andrews, P.A., where her areas of practice are real estate, business law, commercial transactions and real estate/commercial litigation. She has previously lectured on corporate entities. Ms. Odom earned her B.S. degree in marketing and international business from the University of Colorado at Boulder and her J.D. and I.M.B.A. degrees from the University of Denver. She is a member of the Real Property and Probate sections of the State Bar of New Mexico. THOMAS A. SIMONS IV opened The Simons Firm, LLP, in January 2001. Previously, he was a founding partner in the law firm of Simons, Cuddy & Friedman, LLP, established in 1981. Upon admission to practice law in both California and New Mexico in 1973, Mr. Simons moved to Santa Fe, where he was a law clerk for the Honorable William R. Hendley on the New Mexico Court of Appeals. He served as general counsel for the New Mexico State Department of Education and then entered private practice. Mr. Simons was a partner in the firm of Sommer, Lawler, Scheuer and Simons, before opening his own practice and then founding the firm of Simons, Cuddy & Friedman, LLP. He was responsible for the rebirth of the New Mexico Defense Lawyers Association in the early 1980's. Mr. Simons served as its president during 1984 and 1985 and was on the Board of Directors of that organization. He is admitted to practice before all New Mexico state courts, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Mr. Simons is a member of the First Judicial District Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the State Bar of New Mexico, the State Bar of California and the Federation of Corporate and Insurance Counsel. He earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Southern Methodist University and his J.D. degree from the University of California at Berkeley. WILLIAM K. WOOTEN is a vice president with Fidelity National Title of New Mexico, Inc., in Albuquerque, New Mexico. A graduate of the University of New Mexico, he has more than 30 years experience in the title insurance industry. Mr. Wooten is updated on current events in the industry by the annual educational hours required by the Department of Insurance, and gives back to the industry by teaching at New Mexico Land Title Association, underwriter and local real property education offerings. He is the former president of the New Mexico Land Title Association.
