RANDY S. BARTELL is a shareholder in the Santa Fe law firm of Montgomery & Andrews, P.A. His practice is devoted primarily to civil rights defense, land use litigation, construction law, employment law, commercial litigation, insurance defense and surety. Mr. Bartell earned his B.A. degree, with honors, from Occidental College and his J.D. degree, with honors, from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles. He is a member of the American and 1st Judicial bar associations, the State Bar of New Mexico, the New Mexico Association of Defense Lawyers and the Oliver Seth Chapter of American Inns of Court. JASON M. BURNETTE is a partner at the law firm of Vogel and Burnette in Albuquerque where he practices in the areas of employment and civil rights law, from both an employer and employee’s perspective. Prior to forming the law firm, Mr. Burnette was a sole practitioner representing employees. He earned his B.S. degree from Appalachian State University and his J.D. degree from the University of New Mexico. DONALD G. GILPIN is a partner in the law firm of Gilpin & Keefe, P.C. His practice is focused primarily in representing employees in various employment related matters. He earned his B.A. degree from New Mexico State University and his J.D. degree from the University of New Mexico. Mr. Gilpin practices in state, federal and related appellate courts. Mr. Gilpin is currently serving on the New Mexico Employment Specialization Committee for the New Mexico State Bar. Mr. Gilpin is a frequent speaker on employee rights. QUENTIN M. SMITH is an attorney in the law firm of Sheehan & Sheehan, P.A., where he focuses his practice in employment and labor law and general civil litigation. He has successfully defended small and large employers against many types of claims, including discrimination, harassment, and wrongful discharge. Mr. Smith is certified by the New Mexico Board of Legal Specialization as a specialist in employment and labor law. He earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Texas Christian University, and his J.D. degree, summa cum laude, from the University of New Mexico School of Law in Albuquerque. He is a member of the State Bar of New Mexico, the Albuquerque and American bar associations, and the New Mexico Defense Lawyers Association. He is also admitted to practice before the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court of New Mexico, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas, and the state courts of New Mexico.
