SAMUEL L. BACA is president of the firm of Baca & Redwine, PC, Certified Public Accountants. A graduate of the University of New Mexico School of Business, he has practiced public accounting in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Mr. Baca is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New Mexico State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the New Mexico Estate Planning Council and the New Mexico Collaborative Divorce Group. He is accredited in business valuation by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. Mr. Baca has previously lectured on various topics including taxation related to divorce, theory of business valuation, CPAs in litigation support, court appointed witnesses and settlement facilitation. In addition to his expertise in litigation matters, he has more than 30 years of experience as a Certified Public Accountant with experience in income tax planning, including personal, business and transaction structure; financial statement reporting; tax return review preparation including individual, corporate and trust returns; resolved financial accounting and reporting issues and has assisted in various audit and review engagements. MARIA R. GARCIA GEER is a shareholder with the Albuquerque law firm of Geer Wissel & Levy, P.A., practicing in general civil law, including family law. She is a former co-editor of the Family Law Newsletter and also is a frequent lecturer on family law and related issues. Ms. Garcia Geer earned her B.A. degree, magna cum laude, and her M.A. degree from the University of New Mexico, and her J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from the University of New Mexico School of Law. She is a member of the State Bar of New Mexico, the Albuquerque Bar Association and the Board of New Mexico Legal Aid. SANFORD H. SIEGEL is a sole practitioner in Albuquerque, where his primary area of practice is family law. Mr. Siegel is listed in the Best Lawyers in America, 2003 - 2004 and 2004 - 2005. He has taught seminars on trial preparation settlement, ethics, custody, support, property division and domestic violence. Mr. Siegel is a board recognized specialist in the area of family law with the State Bar of New Mexico. He earned his B.A. degree from Cornell University, his M.A. degree from the New School for Social Research and his J.D. degree from Fordham University School of Law in New York City.
