CHERYL BETTEN is the firm administrator for Adinolfi & Goldstein, one of the largest divorce and family law firms in southern New Jersey. She has an extensive background in successfully managing all business functions and operations of a law office. Ms. Betten works daily to identify complex issues and prolems facing today's law firms, and for creative and cost-effective solutions to positively address them. As a skilled problem solver, she has been directly responsible for researching and implementing several technology initiatives to make the law firm more productive and efficient. Ms. Betten is the recipient of the prestigious NJ Commendation Medal for her volunteer efforts on behalf of military families. She has been recognized for her professional and personal accomplishments by Cambridge's Who's Who Registry of Women Executives and Professionals and is a lifetime member of Strathmore's Who's Who. Ms. Betten also was named a South Jersey Superwoman by South Jersey Magazine. She earned her designation as a certified legal manager from the Association of Legal Administrators and her MBA from the University of Phoenix. KELLY BULSAK is an IT education specialist with Weber Gallagher Simpson Stapleton Fires & Newby LLP. Before joining the firm, she taught young adults for five years. At Weber Gallagher Simpson Stapleton Fires & Newby LLP, Ms. Bulsak designs the curriculum and delivers training to both enhance productivity of the legal team and to ensure the success of new application deployments. She is vice president of technology in the Philadelphia Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA). Ms. Bulsak published a Voice Over IP article in the ALA newsletter, and is a member of the Women in eDiscovery, Philadelphia Chapter. She earned her undergraduate degree in education with a minor in computer science, and completed masters degrees in education and applied technology, and also in curriculum and instruction. KATHLEEN L. DAERR-BANNON is a sole practitioner in Philadelphia and is an experienced neutral available to serve in a variety of ADR matters, including early neutral evaluation, mediation, arbitration, facilitation, conciliation, and as a judge pro tem. Approximately 16 years ago, she trained and began the practice of mediation in tort and insurance matters, including individual personal injury claims and also Manville asbestos mediation. In addition, Ms. Daerr-Bannon continued to serve as a neutral locally, nationally and in London, in the field of individual and mass tort/class action claims, including programs such as Dalkon Shield, Piper Aircraft and Silicone Breast Implant. More recently, she was appointed as a mediator and later as an arbitrator in the Smith Barney Dispute Resolution Process and as arbitrator in the Merrill Lynch Claims Resolution Process, class actions involving employment discrimination. Ms. Daerr-Bannon has served as mediator for EEOC, NARA and REDRESS; hearing examiner for SEPTA in post-determination hearings, arbitrator for AAA in individual and class action matters; arbitrator and mediator for NASD; and has been consulted in the design of an employment ADR program for a Fortune 500 corporation; as well as serving on a number of other private and court panels. She has conducted more than 1,000 arbitration, mediation and facilitation hearings in the substantive areas of commercial, employment, automobile, premises liability, medical and other professional negligence, insurance, aviation, consumer, securities; and general tort and contract litigation, as well as continuing to counsel clients in ADR settings. Ms. Daerr-Bannon is on the faculty at Temple University Fox School of Business, has taught at Temple University Japan Campus in Tokyo and has served as guest lecturer at Villanova School of Law. For several years, she was co-chair of the ADR committees of both the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania bar associations and a course planner for the first and second statewide ADR Institutes. In 2007, Ms. Daerr-Bannon continued as a course planner for the Third Annual ADR Institute in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. ANN GORR is recognized on a national and regional level as a subject matter expert in the legal vertical business and technology arena. With over 25 years as a consulting professional, her expertise is derived from her focused interaction with law firms ranging from the sole practitioner to some the largest law firms on both the national and international level. During her professional career, Ms. Gorr has served in a wide variety of roles including business solutions analyst, applications support specialist, E-filing subject matter expert, ICLE presenter, project manager, sales support, application trainer, and documentation specialist. In her current role within the business development team, she is focused on enhancing and increasing Micro Strategies Inc's presence in the legal market ensuring that we continue to provide innovative business solutions addressing the technology needs for our legal client base. Within the law office environment, Ms. Gorr interacts with in-house personnel ranging from the CEO/senior partner to administrative assistants; and helps them identify areas for streamlining and improving internal business flows and technology solutions. Her in-depth understanding of the needs of the legal office, as well as her keen ability to help clients strategize and then develop and translate rollout plans, makes her a great asset to clients and a popular presenter. Ms. Gorr earned a B.S. in Education from Clarion State University in Pennsylvania. JOSEPH L. JAMES IV is an integral and valued team member for Micro Strategies Inc. His vast experience in the training arena began when he enlisted in the military, where he served as a training officer for the Mechanized Combat Support Division. Mr. James was subsequently employed by IBM where he spent the next 28 years in a variety of positions in sales, marketing, management and training. He became a manager of training and development in IBM's Corporate Headquarters and was one of the pioneers in getting IBM into the training business. Mr. James went on to teach in IBM's Management Development School until returning to the field to work as a forecaster in the Latin American Division. Upon leaving IBM, he joined CALC as a lead instructor for the Microsoft suite of products as well as other vendor software offerings. Mr. James joined the Micro Strategies Inc. team in 1998 and has served as a project support manager, supporting end user software instruction across all business platforms. His experience within the legal environment ranges from working with the U.S. Attorney General, large law firms and corporate legal offices, as well as the sole practitioner. Mr. James develops training curriculum for product offerings marketed by Micro Strategies Inc. and is a member of ASTD ( New Jersey Association of Training and Developers). He is a certified instructor for iManage DMS (Document Management System). Most recently, Mr. James co-authored an article for the New Jersey Association of Legal Administrators (NJALA) magazine. In addition to his technical writings skills, he has had several poetic pieces published by Rutgers University. Mr. James is a graduate of Newark's Central High School and Bloomfield College, where he obtained a degree in Political Science.
