June 6 - Cherry Hill THOMAS D. BEGLEY III is a partner in the Begley Law Group, P.C., where he concentrates his practice in the areas of estate and tax planning, estate administration, small business representation, elder law and probate litigation. Mr. Begley is a certified elder law attorney (CELA). He earned his B.A. from Georgetown University College of Arts and Sciences and his J.D. degree from Georgetown University Law Center. Mr. Begley is an accomplished author and lecturer and has frequently spoken on behalf of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education, as well as other professional organizations. He is a former director of the Elder Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association, as well as a former chair of the estate planning and probate committee of the Burlington County Bar Association. JOHN L. CONROY JR. is a sole practitioner in the law firm of John L. Conroy Jr., Attorney at Law in Cherry Hill. His primary areas of practice include estate planning, estate administration, probate litigation and elder law. Mr. Conroy is a frequent lecturer on matters related to estate planning, estate administration and elder law. June 7 - Saddle Brook DANIEL J. JURKOVIC is an attorney in Rutherford, New Jersey, whose practice is concentrated in the areas of elder law, guardianships, disability planning and estate planning. Mr. Jurkovic has been granted the title of Certified Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation, after demonstrating through comprehensive testing and documentation of actual cases handled, that he has a solid foundation in the complex issues affecting the elderly and disabled in America today. This certification has been approved by the New Jersey Supreme Court and accredited by the American Bar Association. He earned his B.S. degree from Thomas Edison State College, his M.S. degree from Cornell University's Baruch College and his J.D. degree, as well as a certificate in Health Law Policy, from Pace University. Recently, Mr. Jurkovic served as lead attorney on the amicus curiae brief submitted on behalf of the Guardianship Association of New Jersey, Inc. (GANJI) and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys before the New Jersey Supreme Court in the matter of the Guardianship of Keri, which established the right of guardians of incapacitated persons to use substituted judgment to carry out Medicaid planning for their wards. He is a frequent public speaker and has spoken before the New Jersey State and county bar associations, the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education, and numerous local social and civic organizations. MARY E. WANDERPOLO is an attorney at WanderPolo Law, LLC, where her practice focuses on estate planning and probate, special needs law, disability planning and elder law. Ms. WanderPolo is a founding and current member of the Council of Advanced Practitioners of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
