August 25 - Newark JOSEPH D. GUARINO is an attorney in the labor and employment, and national litigation practice groups of the Newark office of Epstein Becker & Green, P.C. He practices in the areas of labor and employment, as well as focusing in the areas of commercial litigation, insurance defense and criminal defense. Mr. Guarino regularly litigates in federal and state courts, and before administrative agencies and arbitration tribunals on a wide range of employment matters, and complex commercial and health care issues. Many of Mr. Guarino's articles on employment related issues have appeared in the New York Employment Newsletter. He is a frequent lecturer and volunteers his time to speak to the public on a variety of legal topics for the New Jersey Department of Education's annual lecture series. Mr. Guarino earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from the University of Scranton and his J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Seton Hall Law School. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association Young Lawyers Division and also serves on the Professional Responsibility and Electoral Process committees. THOMAS B. HIGHT is the principal with the Law Office of Thomas B. Hight, P.C., in Bloomfield, where he devotes his practice to personal injury, insurance defense, products liability and workers' compensation. He has lectured on premises liability, deposition, arbitration and motion practice, auto injury and insurance coverage to various CLE associations. Mr. Hight serves as a lecturer for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy at Rutgers, Hofstra and Delaware law schools. He earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from C.W. Post College and his J.D. degree from American University. Mr. Hight is a graduate of the American Inns of Court, Richard J. Hughes Inn of Court and is past president and chairman of the board of the New Jersey Defense Association. ARTHUR L. RAYNES is a partner with Wiley Malehorn Sirota & Raynes where he has been practicing since 1982, first as an associate and then as a partner. Mr. Raynes heads the firm's litigation practice and has tried cases in state and federal courts throughout New Jersey and in other states as well. For the last several years, Mr. Raynes has been named a "Super Lawyer" by Super Lawyers magazine. For the past two years, he has been selected one of "New Jersey's Top 100 Lawyers." Super Lawyers magazine is a business publication that conducts an annual survey of the state's experienced attorneys. He represents employees and employers in all kinds of employment disputes. His successful defense of First Morris Bank against employment discrimination charges was covered in its entirety on Court TV. He serves on the Civil Practice Committee of the Morris County Bar Association (chair, Employment Law Committee). Mr. Raynes has lectured on employment law, commercial law and trial practice. Mr. Raynes graduated from Rutgers College, with honors, and he earned his law degree, with honors, from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association. August 31 - Cherry Hill ELIZABETH D. BERENATO is a member of the law firm of Smith, Magram, Berenato & Michaud, where her practice is concentrated in the areas of litigation, personal injury and Social Security disability. Ms. Berenato is a certified civil trial attorney. She is a member of the Burlington County Bar Association and chair of the Personal Injury Sub-Committee. She has served as a trustee of the Burlington County Bar Association and was chair of the District IIIB Fee Arbitration Committee. She also served on the District IIIB Ethics Committee for the Supreme Court. She is a member of the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Bar Associations, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the National Institute of Trial Advocacy. Ms. Berenato earned her B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from Glassboro State College and her J.D. degree from Widener University School of Law. She lectures frequently on the issues of civil litigation practice and Social Security disability. DAVID W. BURNS is a partner with the law firm of Segal & Burns, P.A., where his main area of practice is civil litigation with a focus on plaintiff personal injury matters; including those arising from motor vehicle negligence, premises liability and products liability. Mr. Burns has maintained his designation by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a certified civil trial attorney since 1999. He has served on the Board of Governors of the American Trial Lawyers Association of New Jersey and as chairperson of the Personal Injury Subcommittee of the Burlington County Bar Association. Mr. Burns has served as neutral arbitrator on binding arbitrations and as court-appointed counsel on cases involving minors' personal injury claims. He is currently a member of the New Jersey Association for Justice and continues to serve as an arbitrator in the Superior Court of Burlington County. CINTI is an attorney with the law firm of Reger Rizzo & Darnall LLP, where his main area of practice is civil litigation and focuses on personal injury defense and insurance coverage disputes, and culminating in being designated a certified civil trial attorney by the New Jersey Supreme Court in 2004. Mr. Cinti is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Defense Association, and previously served as chairman of the automobile law subcommittee for that organization. He also continues to serve as an arbitrator in the Superior Courts of Mercer and Burlington counties. He is admitted to the New Jersey State, New York State and Pennsylvania bar associations, as well as the New Jersey Federal District Court and Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
