December 14 - Cherry Hill ROBERT BRAVERMAN is the managing partner at the Law Offices of Robert Braverman, LLC. He is board certified by the American Board of Certification in both Business Bankruptcy Law and Consumer Bankruptcy Law. Mr. Braverman's uniquely diverse experience includes representing both debtors and creditors in Chapter 11, Chapter 13 and Chapter 7 bankruptcy cases of varying complexities. He was appointed to serve on the Supreme Court of New Jersey District IV Ethics Committee and he also serves as a bankruptcy mediator. Mr. Braverman is an adjunct professor at the Rutgers School of Law, where he teaches Professional Responsibility. He is primarily based in the firm's Philadelphia office, but splits his practice between both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. In large part, he defends lawyers, insurance agents, and many other professional classes against malpractice claims. Mr. Marrone currently serves as chair of the Professional Liability Committee of the Defense Research Institute (DRI). He is also an active member of the New Jersey Defense Association, and the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS). He has lectured and written extensively on professional liability issues for various industry groups and publications, including DRI's For The Defense, The PLUS Journal, American Agent & Broker, and National Underwriter Property & Casualty. December 15 - Newark CATHERINE M. BROWN is a certified civil and criminal trial attorney who has practiced at every level of the state and federal courts. She served as a deputy attorney general in the Division of Law, where she handled complex litigation for the New Jersey Department of Corrections, the New Jersey Attorney General and the New Jersey State Police, among other agencies. Ms. Brown was thereafter of counsel at the law firm of McElroy, Deutsch & Mulvaney. She was appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a member of the District X Ethics Committee, which she chaired in 2007-2008. Ms. Brown maintains a solo practice in Morristown, New Jersey, where she concentrates on civil and criminal litigation, and attorney disciplinary matters. She earned her B.A. degree, with highest honors, from Rutgers University and her J.D. degree from Rutgers School of Law - Camden. SCOTT B. PIEKARSKY is a partner in the Wyckoff law firm of Piekarsky & Associates, LLC, where he practices in the areas of professional liability, insurance law, general negligence, small business representation, real estate law and condominium law. Mr. Piekarsky frequently lectures to various professional groups and has written articles on legal malpractice, condominium law and ethical issues. He is a member of the Bergen County, New Jersey State and American bar associations, the New Jersey Defense Association and the Defense Research Institute. He is a former barrister with the Pashman American Inn of Court. Mr. Piekarsky also is a member of Justice Robert Clifford Inn of Court (master) and certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a civil trial attorney. SANDERS is of counsel with McGivney & Kluger, P.C. He specializes in complex mass tort, products liability, professional liability, insurance coverage and personal injury defense. He also has experience representing clients in professional liability, personal injury, insurance coverage, consumer protection and securities arbitration matters. Mr. Sanders was a member of the New Jersey Supreme Court's District V-B Ethics Committee from 1997 to 2001. Mr. Sanders was also a founding member of the Justice Wm. J. Brennan, Jr. Inn of Court, and a Master of the Inn from 1995 to 2003.
