SCOTT H. HARRIS is a director in McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton, Professional Association's Litigation Department. He has tried cases in the state and federal courts in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and elsewhere for more than fifteen years. His practice involves representing companies and executives in litigation and at trial in a range of commercial disputes including: tax matters, trade secret and restrictive employment covenant litigation, contract claims, shareholder rights, land use and other business disputes. Mr. Harris also represents both plaintiffs and professionals in professional malpractice and licensure litigation and has a substantial practice representing both plaintiffs and defendants in significant personal injury matters. Mr. Harris is a member of the New Hampshire and American bar associations. He earned his B.A. degree from Franklin & Marshall College and his J.D. degree from Vanderbilt. CHRISTOPHER J. PYLES is a member of the litigation team at Wiggin & Nourie, P.A. He has been litigating cases in several states for more than ten years, and has significant trial experience in several jurisdictions, including state and federal courts in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Mr. Pyles has represented employers and employees in court and in administrative proceedings, litigated a wide range of business and commercial issues, and has a significant insurance defense practice. His experience includes jury trials, bench trials, arbitrations, appellate arguments, appearing before medical malpractice panels, and engaging in mediations as a party and as volunteer mediator. Mr. Pyles is a frequent speaker at litigation seminars, and contributor to Wiggin & Nourie blogs, industry newsletters, and legal updates to clients. In addition to being a member of the state and federal bars in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, West Virginia, and the 1st Circuit and 4th Circuit, Mr. Pyles is a member of the Manchester Bar Association, DRI, and the Tri-State Defense Lawyers Association. R. JAMES STEINER operates his own law firm, Steiner Law Office, PLLC, after being a partner at large and medium New Hampshire firms. He was one of the first two New Hampshire attorneys inducted as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, a national association of trial lawyers where admission is based on qualitative evaluation of an attorney's practice and ethics. Mr. Steiner's practice is mainly in civil litigation, with a significant amount of work in real estate litigation, general business litigation and injury cases. He earned his B.S. degree from the United States Military Academy, West Point, New York and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School, Boston, Massachusetts. Mr. Steiner is a past law clerk to Chief Justice David Brock of the New Hampshire Supreme Court, a member of the New Hampshire Supreme Court Society, and serves annually as an adjunct faculty member for trial advocacy at Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware. He presents to professional groups and has had works published in law reviews and other legal journals. Mr. Steiner is a member of the New Hampshire (business litigation and family law sections) and American bar associations (section on litigation), and is admitted to practice before the federal courts.
