PAUL J. ALFANO practices with the Concord firm of Alfano Law Office, PLLC, where he concentrates in the areas of real estate law, road law, business law, and tax abatements. Mr. Alfano is the author of two New Hampshire Bar Journal articles on the creation and termination of highways in New Hampshire, and has written several other articles on roads and highways for lawyers and surveyors. Over the past twenty years, he has spoken before many groups on the subject. Along the way, Mr. Alfano has served as legal counsel to the New Hampshire State Senate, a director of the United Way of Greater Manchester, a member of the Board of Recount for the City of Manchester, and chairman of the Long Range Planning Committee for the New Hampshire Bar Association. Mr. Alfano is admitted to practice in New Hampshire in both the federal and state courts. He is a graduate of Boston University School of Law and Harvard College. HENRY H. AMSDEN is sole proprietor of the land surveying and boundary consulting firm of H.H. Amsden & Sons in Concord. He is a member of the New Hampshire Land Surveyors Association (former member, Ethics and Standards Committee and elected fellow by the association). Mr. Amsden earned his B.A. degree from Barrington College. He has been a mathematics instructor at Franklin Pierce College and Wilton High School, a mathematics and history instructor at Canaan College and Nathaniel Hawthorne College, and a mathematics and economics instructor at New Hampshire College. Mr. Amsden has served as an expert witness on several litigated boundary disputes. He has published and lectured professionally on many boundary related topics and practice areas. KATHLEEN H. BUTTON is president of Blackstone Title Company, LLC and also is with Baroff, PA, where she concentrates her practice in the commercial and residential real estate field, representing lenders, investors and property owners in the acquisition, management, and conveyance of both fee simple and leasehold interests in property. Ms. Button has counseled parties regarding land development and construction issues. She is a title agent for several national title insurance underwriters. Ms. Button has been an expert witness in property disputes in New Hampshire Superior Courts. Her office management experience includes human resources, accounting and daily operations. She earned her B.S. degree from the University of New Hampshire and her J.D. from the Franklin Pierce Law Center. MARIA T. DOLDER is a partner with Hebert & Dolder, PLLC and her areas of practice include real estate law, contract law, municipal planning and zoning, land use, business transactions, landlord and tenant issues, civil litigation, and administrative law. She is admitted to the New Hampshire Bar Association and to the U.S. District Court in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Ms. Dolder is admitted to practice law in Maine, Massachusetts and Missouri. She is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire School of Law. Ms. Dolder is a member of the New Hampshire Women's Bar Association and serves on the Board of Directors for Woodside School, Inc. GREGORY E. MICHAEL is of counsel to the Manchester law firm of Bernstein, Shur, Sawyer & Nelson, P.A., where his areas of practice are real estate, municipal law and land use. He has spoken previously on topics related to his areas of practice including presentations for the New Hampshire Municipal Law Lecture Series and the New Hampshire Bar Association. Mr. Michael earned his B.S. degree from the University of New Hampshire and his J.D. degree from Suffolk University Law School. He is a member of the New Hampshire and Massachusetts bar associations, and the New Hampshire District and Municipal Court Judge's Association.
