R. DAVID DePUY is a shareholder with the New Hampshire law firm of McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton, Professional Association, where he has a general trial practice, including personal injury, business litigation and domestic relations. He has lectured for various business and professional groups on trial practice. Mr. DePuy earned his B.A. degree from Lehigh University and his J.D. degree from Boston University. He is a former state representative to ATLA and a past president of the New Hampshire Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. DePuy is on the Board of Directors of the New Hampshire Public Defender; is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association, the American Board of Trial Advocates (past president, New Hampshire Chapter) and the International Society of Barristers; and he is on the board of New Hampshire Legal Assistance. HARVEY J. GAROD is a sole practitioner in New Hampshire and he is a certified civil trial specialist and examiner for the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Mr. Garod is admitted to practice before the New Hampshire Bar Association, The Florida Bar, the U.S. Court of Appeals (First Circuit), the Federal District Court of New Hampshire, the Federal District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He is a member of the Panel of Arbitrators for the American Arbitration Association. Mr. Garod is a certified arbitrator for the New Hampshire Superior Court and a member of The Florida Bar, and the Belknap County, New Hampshire and American bar associations; the American Association for Justice; the New Hampshire Association for Justice; and the National College of Advocacy. He is a certified neutral with the New Hampshire Supreme Court. Mr. Garod earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from the University of New Hampshire and his J.D. degree, with honors, from the University of Florida College of Law. MICHAEL R. MORTIMER is a partner at the law firm of Wadleigh Starr & Peters PLLC, where he practices in the areas of workers' compensation, insurance defense litigation, insurance law and civil litigation. He earned his B.A. degree from Williams College and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Boston University. Mr. Mortimer is a member of the New Hampshire (member, Workers' Compensation Law Section) and Massachusetts bar associations. LESLIE C. NIXON is a trial lawyer and director in the Manchester law firm of Nixon, Raiche, Vogelman, Barry & Slawsky, P.A. She earned her undergraduate and law degrees from Smith College and the University of Pennsylvania. Ms. Nixon served as a delegate to the 1984 New Hampshire Constitutional Convention and was a member of the New Hampshire Legislature from 1986 to 1988. She is a past president of the New Hampshire Trial Lawyers' Association, and has served on the boards of that association and the American Association of Justice (formerly Association of Trial Lawyers of America). She also has served on the board of New Hampshire Legal Assistance, the New Hampshire Child Daycare Advisory Council, the Governors' Partnership in Early Learning, the New Hampshire Superior Court Jury Reform Committee and the American State Festival. LEE C. NYQUIST is of counsel with Shaheen & Gordon, P.A. He is a veteran civil trial attorney who has represented individuals and institutions in several hundred cases in state superior court, federal court and administrative agencies. Mr. Nyquist has represented clients in 22 reported New Hampshire Supreme Court cases. He practices extensively in workers' compensation at the New Hampshire Labor Department and has completed several successful six-figure settlements for injured workers who were severely injured during the course of their employment. Unlike most New Hampshire attorneys, Mr. Nyquist has represented both injured individuals as plaintiffs, and also businesses and insurance carriers as defendants. He is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association, American Association for Justice, New Hampshire Association for Justice (past president), Manchester Bar Association (past president) and New Hampshire Bar Foundation (fellow). Mr. Nyquist earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from Harvard College and his J.D. degree from Washington College of Law.
