ELLIOTT BERRY is assistant litigation director for New Hampshire Legal Assistance. Over the course of a 31 year career providing civil legal services to low income residents of New Hampshire, he has participated in hundreds of trials in the state's district courts and superior courts, and over a dozen appeals in the New Hampshire Supreme Court. In addition to extensive litigation, Mr. Berry has drafted over a dozen bills which have been enacted into law by the New Hampshire Legislature, served on two commissions established by the legislature and three commissions established by the governor. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Michigan and his J.D. degree from Boston College Law School. Mr. Berry received the Frank Rowe Kension Award from the New Hampshire Bar Foundation for significant contribution to the betterment of citizens of New Hampshire through the administration of justice, the legal profession or the advancement of legal thought. DAVID E. BUCKLEY is the primary shareholder of Buckley Law Offices, P.C., located in Nashua, New Hampshire. The firm represents clients in New Hampshire and Massachusetts in practice areas that include bankruptcy, business law, business organization, civil litigation, family law, landlord and tenant, mergers and acquisitions, personal injury/negligence, probate administration, real estate; and wills, trusts & estate planning. Mr. Buckley earned his B.S. degree from Salve Regina University and his J.D. degree from New England School of Law. CRAIG DONAIS is an attorney with Donais Law Offices, PLLC. He represents businesses, institutions, municipalities and individuals in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Connecticut. Mr. Donais' practice is focused primarily in business and corporate law; wills, trusts, and estate planning; and real estate. Others areas of practice include zoning, land use, environment, construction, and eminent domain. He earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School. Mr. Donais is a Rule 170 mediator and arbitrator of the New Hampshire Judicial Branch Office of Mediation and Arbitration. He also is on the Bar News Advisory Board and Law Related Education Volunteer for the New Hampshire Bar Association. MATTHEW R. JOHNSON is a shareholder in the Manchester law firm of Devine, Millimet & Branch, Professional Association, where he practices in the areas of construction litigation, bankruptcy, creditors' rights, land use litigation and real estate litigation. He frequently lectures on construction law and construction defects, real estate, bankruptcy, foreclosure/repossession, and creditors' rights. Mr. Johnson earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from Middlebury College and his J.D. degree from William & Mary Law School, where he was Order of the Coif. He is a member of the Associated Builders and Contractors (New Hampshire and Vermont chapters), the Associated General Contractors of New Hampshire, Inc., and the American (Litigation Section) and New Hampshire bar associations. MICHAEL C. SHKLAR is a managing partner with the firm of Elliott, Jasper, Auten, Shklar & Wellman-Ally, LLP, in Newport, New Hampshire, where he has practiced law since 1985 after graduating from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. He practices in a number of areas including bankruptcy law for creditors and debtors, real estate law, criminal and juvenile law, and handles collection work for commercial clients. Mr. Shklar also is certified as a guardian ad litem, a child welfare law specialist, and town solicitor for the town of Lempster, New Hampshire, where he resided. He is an agent for CATIC and has appeared before the Supreme Court and the Attorney Discipline Office/PCC on behalf of other attorneys.
