PETER G. BEESON is a shareholder at Devine, Millimet & Branch, Professional Association, where he co-chairs the firm's attorney conduct and liability practice group and is a member of the firm's internal professionalism committee. He is a trial attorney with 30 years of experience who has defended law firms and lawyers in legal malpractice actions, character and fitness inquiries, and disciplinary proceedings since leaving the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office more than 15 years ago. Mr. Beeson is a member of the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers and the American Bar Association's Center for Professional Responsibility. He is a member of the Ethics Committee of the New Hampshire Bar Association; is listed in Woodward/White's Best Lawyers in America (in New Hampshire) for legal malpractice defense; and is the recipient of the Bar Association's 2008 E. Donald Dufresne Professionalism Award. Mr. Beeson earned his B.A. degree from Yale University and his J.D. degree from Cornell Law School. JOHN C. KISSINGER JR. is an officer in the Manchester law firm of Nelson, Kinder, Mosseau & Saturley, P.C., where he practices in the areas of commercial litigation and legal malpractice defense. He has spoken for various professional groups and written numerous articles on his areas of practice. Mr. Kissinger is a former assistant attorney general for the New Hampshire Department of Justice. He earned his A.B. degree and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Georgetown University. Mr. Kissinger is a member of the New Hampshire and Massachusetts bar associations.
