RALPH FROEHLICH is an attorney with Locher Pavelka Dostal Braddy & Hammes, LLC. He has been involved in a variety of cases ranging from defending professional malpractice claims against accountants, defending a component manufacturer after an explosion in a large industrial ammonia refrigeration system, defending a garage door manufacturer from a suit brought by the installer of an electric garage door opener, defending a major automobile manufacturer from a suit involving a severe rollover accident, and defending a large food company whose tractor-trailer collided with a passenger bus. Mr. Froehlich has worked on diverse legal matters that arose out of water problems in residential dwellings, water draining onto agricultural lands, winter storm damage to cattle on a major feed lot, disputed real estate transactions, conflict between a state lottery and its private business partners, disputes involving fiduciaries (such as guardians, conservators, administrators of estates, and trustees), claims of employment discrimination, and a claim involving destruction of computer data. Mr. Froehlich strives to draft clear agreements that address foreseeable problems before they arise, provide for unforeseeable pitfalls and will stand up in court if litigation nevertheless ensues. In this sense, he still adheres to the military maxim that conflict is best avoided by maintaining the capability to fight and win. JEFFRIES is an attorney with Cline Williams Wright Johnson & Oldfather, L.L.P., where his main areas of practice are litigation, alternative dispute resolution, intellectual property and technology law, securities, bankruptcy, and creditors' rights. Mr. Jeffries' trial practice focuses on complex commercial matters, with particular emphasis on insurance and reinsurance, securities litigation and FINRA arbitrations, real estate disputes, trademark, intellectual property and technology law, and creditors' rights. He is listed as a Great Plains Super Lawyer in business litigation. Mr. Jeffries is a member of the Nebraska State Bar Association (House of Delegates, 2003-2005). He earned his A.B. degree from the University of Chicago and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Creighton University. NICK JOHNSON is a paralegal in the Omaha law firm of Locher Pavelka Dostal Braddy & Hammes, LLC. He is the firm's in-house technology specialist on Microsoft Office Suites, Windows Small Business Server, and resolves the firm's day-to-day issues that arise regarding software and hardware currently utilized by the firm. Prior to his current position, Mr. Johnson was a legal assistant for an Omaha-based collection agency, where he attained his American Collectors Association International Certified Collector Award. To obtain this award, he gained extensive knowledge of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA) and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Mr. Johnson was also a project leader in the agency's professional practices management system (PPMS) as and was responsible for identifying and monitoring opportunities to improve quality assurance for the agency's clients and debtors. JAYNE L. SEBBY is a solo practitioner focusing on intellectual property, media and business law in Lincoln, Nebraska. She earned her undergraduate degree in broadcasting and film from the University of Iowa and worked as a producer/director in both public and commercial television. Ms. Sebby earned her law degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and is admitted to practice in Nebraska federal and state courts. She currently is president of the Woods Park Neighborhood Association and the Greater Lincoln Obedience Club. Ms. Sebby also has strong ties to the creative community of Southeast Nebraska. CHAD W.
