JAMES C. LAMPHERE is the president of Nebraska Land Title & Abstract. He earned his undergraduate degree from Gustavus Adolphus College and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from William Mitchell College of Law. Mr. Lamphere is admitted to practice law in Minnesota and Nebraska, and before the U. S. District courts for Minnesota and Nebraska. He also is a licensed title agent in Nebraska and a frequent speaker on title insurance issues. Mr. Lamphere is a member of the Board of Directors of the Nebraska Land Title Association and the current president of the association. He also serves as secretary of the Board of Directors of the Food Bank of Lincoln. TREV E. PETERSON is a partner at Knudsen Law Firm. He has nearly 30 years of experience in the commercial and real estate lending, bankruptcy, foreclosure and commercial litigation practice areas. Mr. Peterson has represented lenders in cases under Chapters 7, 11, 12 and 13 of the bankruptcy code. He is a member of the American, Nebraska State and Lincoln bar associations, and the American Bankruptcy Institute. Mr. Peterson is a fellow in the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and Litigation Counsel of America, and was named as a Super Lawyer of the Midwest in 2007. He is a past president of the Banking Law Section of the Nebraska State Bar Association and is a former president of the Bankruptcy Section of the Nebraska State Bar Association. Mr. Peterson earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and his J.D. degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law. He is a frequent speaker at seminars involving lending, bankruptcy and foreclosure. H. DANIEL SMITH is the managing partner of the Smith, Gardner, Slusky, Lazar, Pohren & Rogers LLP law firm. Mr. Smith concentrates his practice in the area of commercial real estate and commercial real estate financing, representing lenders, borrowers, landlords, tenants and developers. He represents investors in all areas and stages of commercial real estate development and financing, with an emphasis on representing lenders in larger commercial real estate loans, representing clients in more than $300,000,000 in real estate transactions per year. Mr. Smith is widely known for his systems and technology expertise, which means better collaboration and faster, cost-effective transactions for clients. He has been in private practice in Omaha, Nebraska for 34 years. Mr. Smith is a fellow in the prestigious American College of Real Estate Lawyers and is named as one of the Best Lawyers in America in real estate. He earned his B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Mr. Smith is admitted to the Nebraska State Bar Association; U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska; U.S. Claims Court; Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals; and the Supreme Court of the U.S. KATHERINE S. VOGEL is an attorney for Knudsen Law Firm, where she focuses on water law and general litigation, striving to deliver quality legal work that meets her client's needs. She practices in areas of agricultural law, appellate practice, bankruptcy, environmental law and health care law. Ms. Vogel earned her B.S. degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and is a graduate of the university's honors program.
