BENJAMIN KLOCKE is a member of Baird Holm LLP's financial transactions section. He practices with the real estate and financial lending groups at the firm. His practices focuses primarily in commercial real estate and financing transactions including the acquisition and sale of real property, commercial leasing, and environmental review of real property. Mr. Klocke is a LEED Accredited Professional. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa College of Law where he served as note and comment editor for the Journal of Corporation Law. Mr. Klocke is admitted to practice in Iowa and Nebraska. He also holds a Master's of Business Administration from the Henry B. Tippie College of Business and a Bachelor of Science in finance, with distinction, from Iowa State University. DAVID C. LEVY is a partner in the law firm of Baird Holm LLP, where he entitles and litigates large, complex development projects for private and government clients. He also obtains governmental approvals and prepares real estate and other documents for renewable energy projects, including wind energy projects. Mr. Levy practices under the National Environmental Policy Act and California Environmental Quality Act as well as negotiates land use and subdivision agreements, easements and related documents and obtains wetland and endangered species authorizations and permits. He co-wrote "Preservation as Mitigation Under CEQA" published in the State Bar of California, Environmental News. He wrote "The Race for the Future: Issues and Strategies in Agricultural Land Use and Preservation," American Bar Association, Natural Resources & Environment Journal, Summer 2003, and State Bar of California Environmental Law Section Fax Update, Land Use Section, (quarterly, 1999-present). Mr. Levy received his B.A. and M.C.P. degrees from the University of California, Berkeley and his J.D. degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the State Bar of California (Environmental Law Section Executive Committee, October 2001 to present), the American Institute of Certified Planners and the American Planning Association. THOMAS R. OSTDIEK is a partner in the law firm of Walentine, O'Toole, McQuillan & Gordon where he practices in the areas of real estate, construction, bankruptcy, creditors' rights, business and banking law. He is admitted to practice before all federal and state courts in Nebraska and the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Ostdiek has lectured on commercial financing, loan documentation and loan default issues, bankruptcy from a creditors' perspective, foreclosure and eviction law. He earned his B.S. degree and his J.D. degree, summa cum laude, from Creighton University. Mr. Ostdiek is a member of the Nebraska State Bar Association (member, Real Estate Guidelines Committee, Business Law Section) and the United States Foreclosures Network and NACUA. TREV E. PETERSON is a partner at Knudsen Berkheimer Richardson & Endacott, LLP. He has 28 years of experience in the commercial and real estate lending, bankruptcy, foreclosure and commercial litigation practice areas. He has represented lenders in cases under Chapters 7, 11, 12 and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code. Mr. Peterson is a member of the American, Nebraska State and Lincoln bar associations, and the American Bankruptcy Institute, is a fellow in the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, is a fellow in the Litigation Counsel of America, and was named as a "Super Lawyer" of the Midwest in 2007. He is a past president of the Banking Law Section of the Nebraska State Bar Association and is a former president of the Bankruptcy Section of the Nebraska State Bar Association. Mr. Peterson attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for his undergraduate education and is a graduate of the University of Nebraska College of Law. He is a frequent speaker at seminars involving lending, bankruptcy and foreclosure.
