JOSEPH K. MEUSEY is a partner with Fraser Stryker PC LLC, where his areas of practice include but are not limited to: commercial litigation, professional liability, insurance defense and self-insured litigation, class action litigation, complex litigation, and appellate practice. He co-authored "Legal Malpractice Law State of Nebraska" for the National Survey of Legal Malpractice Law of the ABA Professional Liability Committee. Mr. Meusey was listed in Best Lawyers' 2009 Omaha Bet-the-Company Litigator of the Year. He was also listed in all the editions of The Best Lawyers in America in bet-the-company Litigation, commercial litigation, legal malpractice law, and personal injury litigation sections and all the editions of Chambers USA, as one of America's Leading Business Lawyers (litigation and general commercial). Mr. Meusey was also listed in Great Plains Super Lawyers from 2007-2009 in the practice area of business litigation. He was an instructor at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine from 1980-2000. Mr. Meusey was a part of the American College of Trial Lawyers (fellow), International Society of Barristers (fellow), TAGLaw International Association (co-chair, litigation section), Nebraska Defense Counsel (member), Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys (past president), and the Defense Research Institute (member). He is a member of the American, Omaha, and Nebraska State bar associations. Mr. Meusey earned his B.A. degree from Buena Vista College and his J.D. degree from the University of Iowa. MICHAEL A. NELSEN is an attorney with the law firm Marks Clare & Richards LLC. His practice is varied, but it all deals with trial work. Mr. Nelsen represents prisoners on death row. He does both civil and criminal work. Mr. Nelsen is past president of the Omaha Bar Association. He has been appointed by the Nebraska Supreme Court to be the referee in more than 20 disciplinary cases. Mr. Nelsen is a graduate of Creighton Law School. J. SCOTT PAUL has been a shareholder at McGrath North Mullin & Kratz, PC, LLP since 1988. He has a nationwide insurance coverage litigation practice. Specialty areas of his practice include commercial litigation, medical malpractice defense and representation of airport owners. Mr. Paul also specializes in ethics and professional responsibility law, and he frequently writes and speaks on the subject of professional responsibility at various seminars and conferences. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Iowa in 1978 and his Juris Doctor degree from Creighton University School of Law in 1981. Mr. Paul is licensed to practice in Nebraska and Iowa. He is past president of the Omaha Bar Association, District 2 representative on the Nebraska State Bar Association Executive Council; a member of the Nebraska State Bar Association House of Delegates; the Iowa State Bar Association Professionalism Committee; and the current chair of the Omaha Bar Association Continuing Legal Education Committee. Mr. Paul has also been recognized by and listed in the Best Lawyers of America and by Super Lawyers. JEFFREY L. STOEHR is a sole practitioner in Omaha, Nebraska, where he has been practicing law since 1973. He practices in the areas of estate planning, probate, tax planning, corporate law and medical malpractice. Mr. Stoehr has spoken to insurance companies several times on wills and trusts issues, as well as professional groups on estate planning and probate law. He is a member of the Omaha, Nebraska State and American (member; sections on: Real Property, Probate and Trust Law) bar associations. Mr. Stoehr earned his B.S. degree and his J.D. degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
