BERNARD IN DEN BOSCH is employed by the City of Omaha Law Department, Nebraska as a Senior Attorney. He earned his undergraduate degree from Tufts University and his law degree from Washington University in St. Louis. In his 15 years working for the City of Omaha, one of Mr. in den Bosch's areas of concentration has been labor and employment law. In addition to litigation related to various aspects of employment, he has advised the Chief of Police, the internal affairs division of the police department, and the labor relations department about discipline and disciplinary investigations. Mr. in den Bosch has represented the city in more than 20 arbitration proceedings and more than 100 administrative proceedings involving discipline, the disciplinary process, and contract interpretation. MIKE KRATVILLE graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1985 and has been litigating since 1987 handling a variety of cases including personal injury, civil rights, labor law, and criminal law. He has served as the Nebraska affiliate head for the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA) since 1998 and has given presentations on various topics to NELA's 8th Circuit Court of Appeals group. Mr. Kratville has also given presentations before the Nebraska Association of Trial Lawyers (NATA) on topics such ERISA, subrogation, and trial strategy. THOMAS O. MUMGAARD graduated from Creighton University Law School, cum laude. He has worked in the City of Omaha Law Department, Nebraska, Law Department for 29 years after clerking with the U.S. District Court. Mr. Mumgaard is currently the city's senior litigator whose practice centers on civil rights and tort litigation defense involving Omaha police officers. He has defended police in eight cases involving the fatal use of force and an uncounted number of other use of force, arrest, and search civil lawsuits. JENNIFER TOMKA is an attorney with Boucher Law Firm, where her areas of practice are litigation, torts, civil rights, products liability, insurance defense, labor and employment. She is a member of Colorado, Lincoln and Nebraska State bar associations (sections on Government; Women and the Bar), and District of Columbia Bar. Ms. Tomka is admitted to practice in Colorado, Nebraska, and the District of Columbia. She earned her B.A. degree from Doane College and Chadron State College and her J.D. degree from Creighton University.
