TREVOR M. FULLER is an attorney at the law firm of Fuller & Barnes, LLP. Mr. Fuller has extensive litigation and trial experience in a wide range of matters and has achieved some spectacular results for his clients over the years in both civil and criminal cases. He has a reputation for zealous and fierce advocacy for his clients and regularly helps his clients face larger opponents and long odds, and often succeeds. LAY is a partner in the law firm of Winston & Strawn LLP, where his practice focuses on representing and advising large employers in matters involving the full range of labor and employment law issues, with an emphasis on employment, non-competition, trade secret litigation and commercial litigation. Mr. Lay has significant experience litigating matters in both federal and state court. He has lectured for different entities on employment issues, as well as litigation. Mr. Lay formerly served as law clerk to the Honorable Walter E. Hoffman, U.S. District Court, and Eastern District of Virginia. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Virginia and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Washington and Lee University School of Law, where he was Order of the Coif. Mr. Lay is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, Virginia State Bar and North Carolina and American bar associations. JEREMY A. STEPHENSON is an attorney with McNair Law Firm, P.A., where he provides counseling and litigation services to management clients in employment matters. He has successfully defended employers before administrative agencies around the country, and the state and federal courts in North Carolina, against claims of employment discrimination, wrongful termination, breach of contract, and wage and hour violations, and represents businesses in the enforcement of non-compete and similar agreements. Mr. Stephenson advises management on wide ranging topics of employment law compliance, including the avoidance of employee claims, the review and drafting of employment contracts and policies, and development and presentation of employee training programs. He regularly publishes articles and is invited to speak on employment law topics. Mr. Stephenson is currently serving as the chair of the Employment Law Committee for the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Charlotte Area Society of Human Resource Managers. He also has extensive experience providing insurance coverage counseling and litigation services on Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI), Directors and Officers (D&O), General Liability (GL), Errors & Omissions (E&O), and other lines of coverage including declaratory judgment and bad faith litigation and appeals. Mr. Stephenson also litigates in the state and federal courts of North Carolina in cases pertaining to professional liability, products liability and other areas of civil liability. Mr. Stephenson earned his B.A. degree from the University of Virginia and his J.D. degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. ERIC M.D. ZION is of counsel in the Charlotte office of Winston & Strawn LLP, whose practice focuses on labor and employment law. Mr. Zion's comprehensive practice includes counseling employers on such issues as investigation, discipline, and termination of employees; wage and hour compliance; harassment and discrimination complaints; workplace violence; reductions in force and compliance with the WARN Act; FMLA, ADA, OSHA, workers' compensation and related laws; labor relations; and employee policies and procedures, including unfair competition and trade secrets. He also represents employers in litigation, arbitration, and hearings before administrative agencies, including the NLRB, EEOC, OSHA, and the U.S. Department of Labor. Mr. Zion has extensive experience litigating cases involving employment matters. He is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association (Labor and Employment Law Section, including as secretary and a member of its Section Council - 2008 to present; and a member of its Professionalism Committee, including as co-chair of the Credit Sub-Committee). Mr. Zion is also a member of the American Bar Association (Labor and Employment Section, including as a member of the Equal Employment Opportunity and Occupational Safety and Health Committees).
