CHARLIE D. BROWN is an attorney at Brown Estate Planning & Elder Law. He is a board certified specialist in estate planning and probate law, focusing his practice on the transfer and protection of people's assets. Mr. Brown's practice involves estate planning; Medicaid and elder law issues; business succession planning; individual, gift and estate taxation; trust and estate administration; the creation and administration of charitable foundations; and asset protection planning. He was named one of the Legal Elite in North Carolina for his work. Mr. Brown is a triple-Deacon, graduating from three schools at Wake Forest University. He graduated, magna cum laude, from the under graduate school, then earned both his M.B.A. and J.D. degrees. During law school, Mr. Brown served as a business symposium editor on the Wake Forest University Law Review. Before joining the firm, he was a trust officer with Wachovia Bank and a senior tax advisor with Arthur Andersen. (Greensboro location) DAVID B. McLEAN is a sole practitioner in the firm David B. McLean, PLLC, where his main areas of practice are estate planning, guardianship, estate administration, Medicaid planning and applications, and elder law. Mr. McLean has established trusts for guardianship estates and provided counsel to trustees; served as counsel for petitioners and as guardian ad litem in numerous incompetence matters; crafted agreements among parties to incompetence matters to avoid or limit litigation; and lectured at the North Carolina Bar Association's Estate Administration CLE seminar on guardianship at the Practice Before the Clerk CLE, sponsored by Wake Forest University in March 2005. He earned his M.Divinity degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, his B.A. degree from Furman University and his J.D. degree from Wake Forest University School of Law. Mr. McLean is a member of the Guilford County, North Carolina (member, Elder Law and Estate Planning sections) and American bar associations; and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). (Greensboro location) LISA SALINES-MONDELLO is an attorney with Salines-Mondello Law Firm, PC, and is of counsel with the Elder Law Firm of Andrew Olsen in Wilmington, North Carolina, where she practices in the areas of estate planning, elder law and probate law. Ms. Salines-Mondello focuses her practice on the transfer and protection of her client's assets. Prior to law school, she developed an interest in elder law during the four years she was a Medicaid eligibility specialist for the Department of Social Services. Ms. Wallace is licensed in North Carolina; her practice is focused on elder law, estate planning and Social Security disability appeals. She is an active member of the North Carolina Bar Association, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and ElderCounsel. Ms. Wallace earned both her undergraduate and law degrees from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. (Raleigh and Greensboro locations) DORI J. WIGGEN is a partner with Wiggen Law Group PLLC in Durham, North Carolina.
