JOHN H. GRIFFING is an attorney with the law firm of Gray Layton Kersh Solomon Furr & Smith P.A. His main areas of practice are local taxation, state taxation, federal taxation, real estate development, syndication, securities arbitration, mergers and acquisitions, and estate planning. Mr. Griffing is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accountant in the state of North Carolina and a Certified Financial Analyst. He is a member of the Gaston County, North Carolina and American (member, section on Taxation) bar associations, the North Carolina State Bar, the South Carolina Bar, North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accounts, National Association of Accountants, Association for Investment Management and Research, Financial Analysis Federation and the North Carolina State Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Griffing also is a graduate faculty member of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Board Certified Specialist in Estate Planning and Probate Law. He earned his B.S. degree from the University of North Carolina, his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Wake Forest University and his M.B.A. degree, with distinction, from Babcock Graduate School of Management. DANICA L. LITTLE is an attorney with Wishart Norris Henninger & Pittman, P.A., where her main areas of practice are estate planning, estate administration, taxation, business succession planning, asset protection planning, special needs planning, estate planning for business owners and asset protection for business owners. She also advised business owners, professional athletes, authors, lawyers, CPAs, executives, and other professionals and individuals regarding estate planning, special needs planning, income and gift tax planning, trusts and estate administration, and business law. Ms. Little has previously spoken and written on numerous areas related to her practice. She is a Board Certified Specialist in Estate Planning and Probate Law, Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.), Certified Management Accountant (C.M.A.) and a Certified Financial Manager (C.F.M.). Ms. Little is a member of the Charlotte Women's Bar Association, Mecklenburg County Bar Association, North Carolina Bar Association, South Carolina Bar, NCBA Citizen-Lawyer Task Force and North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants Tax Committee. She earned her B.A. degree from the University of Florida, her Masters of Accountancy degree from the University of Florida and her J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Florida State University. RICHARD E. MARSH JR. is a Board Certified Specialist in Estate Planning and Probate Law in North Carolina. He has practiced tax, business transaction, and estate planning for more than 20 years. Mr. Marsh is an active writer and lecturer for attorneys, CPAs, CLUs and other financial professionals and trade groups in the areas of estate planning, tax planning, sales and purchases of businesses, and tax advantaged transactions involving real estate. He is active with the national, state and local bar, as well as accounting professional associations. Mr. Marsh has chaired the Sales, Exchanges and Basis Committee and the Nonrecognition Transactions (Like Kind Exchanges) subcommittee of the American Bar Association Tax Section. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Tax Court (Florida, South Carolina) and the Western District of North Carolina, North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida courts. He is a member of the Mecklenburg County, North Carolina and American bar associations, The Florida Bar and South Carolina Bar. Mr. Marsh earned his undergraduate degree from Bucknell University, his LL.M. degree from Georgetown University and his J.D. degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
