JEFFREY A. BENSON is a partner of the Raleigh firm of Kilpatrick Stockton LLP, where he practices in the areas of real estate, zoning, and planning and land use. He earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from Middlebury College; his M.A. degree from Terry Sanford Institute of Public Policy, Duke University; and his J.D. degree, with honors, from Duke University School of Law. Mr. Benson is a member of the Wake County and North Carolina bar associations. TABATHA L. CRUDEN is the commercial counsel for First American Title Insurance Corporation. Ms. Cruden was in private real estate practice for more than seven years on the Outer Banks and in Raleigh prior to entering the title insurance industry in 2001. She is licensed to practice law in the state of North Carolina, and is a member of the Real Property sections of the Wake County and North Carolina bar associations, the Triangle Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and Urban Land Institute (ULI). Ms. Cruden currently serves as president of the executive council of the North Carolina Land Title Association (NCLTA) and past president of the Triangle Chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women (TCREW). She earned her undergraduate degree from Wheaton College and her law degree from Campbell University. ALAN D. McINNES is a partner with Kilpatrick Stockton LLP, where he practices in the areas of litigation, construction and bankruptcy. He earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from Duke University and his J.D. degree, with honors, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law. Mr. McInnes is a member of the American, North Carolina and Wake County bar associations. ROBERT A. SPENCE JR. is an attorney at Spence & Spence, P.A. He is a board-certified specialist in real property law: residential transactions. Mr. Spence concentrates his practice in civil, business and real property litigation, local government law, and real property transactions. He earned his A.B. degree from Wesleyan University and his J.D. degree from the University of North Carolina. Mr. Spence is a former president of the Johnston County Bar Association, former president-elect of the 11th Judicial District Bar and former counselor for the North Carolina State Ba,r representing the 11th Judicial District for 11 years. He has been a member of the North Carolina State Bar Executive Ethics Committee, Grievance Committee, New Issues Committee, Executive Committee and the Authorize Practice Committee. Mr. Spence is a former board member of the North Carolina Farm Workers Legal Services and a former board member of the East Central Community Legal Services.
