DANIEL P. CAHALAN is an attorney in the law firm of Bjornson Law Offices, P.C., where he specializes in real estate transactions, business transactions, business organizations, contracts, Internet commerce, and trademark and copyright law. Mr. Cahalan attended the Universitat Munchen (Munich) on a Rotary Fellowship, receiving his Masters in International Business from the American Graduate School in International Management (Thunderbird) in 1982. He worked as a commodities trader for Continental Grain until moving to Missoula. Mr. Cahalan started teaching in the Business School at the University of Montana in 1989 and was voted the "Most Inspirational Professor" on Campus in 1993. While continuing to teach, he attended the University of Montana, School of Law, receiving his juris doctorate in 1996. After becoming a member of the Montana Bar Association, he continued to teach business law in the Business School, insurance law for Connole-Morton, and various liability and employment law courses as continuing education for CPA's with Western CPE of Bozeman. His entrepreneurial interests led him to start a successful real estate development business and an IT support business. MICHAEL A. MONSON is an attorney in the law firm of Holland & Hart LLP, where he is a member of the firm's business group. Mr. Monson represents clients in an array of business transactions, commercial finance matters, and entity formations, including LLC's, partnerships, and corporations. His practice also includes tax and estate planning matters. Mr. Monson has an accounting background, as well. He is a Certified Public Accountant with a nonactive license. He received his B.S. degree, summa cum laude, from Montana State University and his J.D. degree from the University of Montana School of Law. He is a member of the American, Montana, and Yellowstone County bar associations. NORM WILLIAMSON is a CPA, CFP ® and shareholder at Anderson ZurMuehlen & Co., P.C. He focuses his practice in tax planning, tax preparation, consulting, and financial planning for individuals. Mr. Williamson consults with a number of small business clients and advises them on entity selection. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Georgia and a Masters degree in accounting and tax from Gonzaga University. He has been involved in his areas of practice since 1998. Mr. Williamson is very involved in his community. He is a member of the local chapter of the Montana Society of CPAs and currently serves as a board member to several local organizations. He has spoken to numerous community and civic groups on tax and planning issues.
