NEEL HAMMOND, M.D. has been an attorney with Hammond Law, PLLC, in Missoula since January 2009. Mr. Hammond was an associate attorney at Harman, Warren & Harris, PLLP, from January 2005 to January 2009. Mr. Hammond's practice areas include medical negligence, insurance and health care. His law practice is limited to defending individuals against negligent providers and insurance companies. He has practiced medicine for more than 20 years and holds a law degree from the University of Montana School of Law. Mr. Hammond has extensive experience working with legal issues involving the practice of medicine and insurance disputes. He is board-certified in internal medicine and medical oncology. Mr. Hammond received his B.S. degree in Physics from Emory University, his M.D. degree from the University of Miami and his J.D. degree from the University of Montana. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Montana, the Montana Trial Lawyers Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians. He was the chief of staff for St. Vincent Hospital (1995-1996). He was a member of the Board of Directors for the Utah Medical Insurance Association (1994-1995). He also was the principal investigator (PI) for the Montana CCOP (cancer research), (1993-2000). TARA A. HARRIS is a deputy county attorney for Lewis and Clark County Attorney's Office. Ms. Harris prosecutes all felony crimes against children and litigates cases on behalf of the Department of Family Services. In her six years with the office, she has prosecuted more than 20 jury trials. Ms. Harris is a frequent lecturer and teacher and is involved with training CASA in Lewis and Clark County and child protection services throughout Montana. She is also an adjunct professor at Carroll College in Helena, where she teaches constitutional law, moot court, and is the moot court team advisor. Ms. Harris earned her B.A. degree from Carroll College and her J.D. degree from the University of Montana School of Law. She is a member of the multidisciplinary team at the Lewis and Clark County Child Advocacy Center. Ms. Harris is also a member of the State Bar of Montana. T. THOMAS SINGER manages the Billings office of Axilon Law Group, PLLC. Mr. Singer practices in Montana and Wyoming, emphasizing business litigation, including copyright and trademark infringement, products liability defense, covenants not to compete, and employee and shareholder rights. He is a former instructor at Rocky Mountain College, Gonzaga Law School, and the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC) Trial Academy. Mr. Singer is asked regularly to speak on trial and litigation practice, professionalism and the substantive areas of his practice. He received his A.A. degree from Northwest Community College, his B.A. degree from Eastern Montana College and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Harvard University. Mr. Singer is past chair of the State Bar of Montana's Professionalism Committee and has been selected as a member of IADC, a fellow of Litigation Counsel of America, a Montana "Superlawyer," and a "Best Lawyer in America."
