MICHAEL V. CORY JR. is a partner in the law firm of Danks, Miller, Hamer & Cory, where his practice is largely focused on general civil and commercial litigation. Mr. Cory has represented both insurance companies and plaintiffs in insurance coverage and bad faith cases. He is the co-author of "Mississippi Uninsured Motorist Law - Where Do We Go From Here?", 69 Miss. L.J. 455 (1999), and "The Circumvention Of Mississippi's Prohibition Of Direct Actions" 66 Miss. L.J. 493 (1997). Mr. Cory earned his B.A. degree from the University of Alabama and his J.D. degree from the University of Mississippi. He is a member of the Hinds County Bar Association and The Mississippi Bar. MARK D. HERBERT is a shareholder in the Jackson office of Watkins Ludlam Winter & Stennis, P.A., as well as chairman of the construction practice group. Mr. Herbert's practice is concentrated in the areas of construction law, especially construction litigation, mediation and arbitration. He is a certified construction mediator and arbitrator by the American Arbitration Association and is a member of its National Panel of Commercial and Construction Arbitrators and Mediators. He has been a frequent lecturer and contributing writer to articles relating to construction law. Mr. Herbert earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from Millsaps College and his J.D. degree from the University of Mississippi. He is a member of the American Bar Association (Forum Committee on the Construction Industry and the Fidelity and Surety Law Committee), The Mississippi Bar and The Mississippi Bar Foundation (past president, former member, Board of Trustees). Mr. Herbert has recently been selected to the Best Lawyers in American in the field of construction law. D. DREW MALONE is a member of the law firm of Robinson, Biggs, Ingram, Solop & Farris, PLLC, where his areas of practice include products liability, class actions and mass tort litigation, insurance bad faith litigation, professional liability, premises liability, warranty claims and automobile cases. He is a member of The Mississippi Bar, the Hinds County and American bar associations, the Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association and the Defense Research Institute. Mr. Malone is admitted to practice in Mississippi and before the U.S. District Court, Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi and the U.S. Court of Appeals (5th Circuit). He earned his B.S. degree from Jacksonville University and his J.D. degree from Mississippi College School of Law. Mr. Malone was the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in torts.
